Good food and a full meal, especially lunch and dinner, but the fellow patrons make it not feel like a safe environment, especially for women. I’ve even seen hostility from the employees, particularly the younger women, towards any other young women that come for food on multiple occasions. It’s really sad to see that women who just try to make themselves look presentable will be treated like they don’t deserve help.
Also, while they open at 8, 1, and 5:30, they don’t let anyone in until at least 8:30, 1:30, and 6, and everyone has to stand out in the cold, even the pouring rain until then. But if you choose to wait and get here after the line is let in, there won’t be much food left. And there is consistently someone smoking cigarettes smoking up the entire line before every meal every day and it’s really hard to breathe in.

This place is such a valuable resource for homeless people in the city. They provide three meals everyday for anyone who shows up. The food is actually not bad either and sometimes some of the local supermarkets and restaurants donate some kind of "gourmet" food such as sushi from whole foods and things like that
