Beacon is my first professional trucking job
I’ve been driving for 6yrs over the road but I’ve been working for beacon now for 6mths and it’s been great they have wonderful equipment Volvo trucks year 22-25 they go 65mph but with cruise control it’s 66mph lol but I love it I’m greatful for this company they are great on communication they give you great loads you can really make money here it’s all up to you I make 53c per mile right now that’s only because they couldn’t get my previous work history that’s another story lol
But I’m cool with 53cent because it’s room to grow here my dispatcher is (Alison Lee ) she is a great dispatcher I really appreciate her
she’s cool and very understanding she hears me out she checks up on me see how I’m doing she keeps my rolling but also lets me live lol because I like going to the gym lol but again
I love this company and I’m gonna be here for a while I really appreciate beacon now let’s roll

Beacon hired me when no one else would, not even Western Express would hire me & I was putting in 20 plus applications a day with no response to any of them! They gave me a second chance & truly are a second chance company. I’m so grateful for Beacon! The things I like about Beacon are they don’t ever send me to the North East and most places we go to have plenty of room to back & we do mostly drop & hooks. I’m really not stressing and worried I’m gonna mess up at Beacon because I usually go to the same places over & over. Also I’m not being rushed because they give me plenty of time to do my loads. Also my recruiter was really kind & did her job well. I’ve been at Beacon 1 year and 3 months so far & love it here. They were an answer to my prayers! My dispatcher is Alison & she is great too! 🙏🏻

As a fellow truck driver, I try to be courteous when in fuel lane. One of your drivers waste time for others to fuel by taking up a lane and didn't even fuel. He was pulling trailer number 3478 on Feb 21 @ 730 EST at the loves truck stop exit 1 in Virgina off I77. Please do better to educate your drivers to be courteous

Beacon transport is a nice company. What I mean by nice is that they are nice to you, but they don't pay well at all. This is a company that doesn't micromanage you; you run as you like. I ran my ssa off and still didn't touch 1100 a week after taxes. It's a laid back company, geared more towards drivers who just wanna earn a couple extra bucks (retirees or near retired). If you are an ambitious, over-the-road or regional driver who is looking for great pay, look elsewhere. The trucks are governed at 65 regardless of what you are told and the only other trucking company you will pass on the road is Prime (barely). You'll run midwest to south and the hometime is very flexible. I didn't leave because it was a 'bad' company; I left because the money wasn't there.

Modern and good trucks governed to 66mph. Automatic transmissions. A/C with engine idle above 65°F or when driving. 50 cents per mile starting. We run the mid west only. Beacon Transport located in LaVergne, TN on I-24 immediately south of Nashville. Travel areas: Iowa, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina. No Hazmat required. CDL-A. Must qualify for TWIC. 150 drivers give or take. Basic shop and office staff. Showers, laundry and nice drivers lounge. Direct Deposit. No transflow. Turn in BOL's when going through Beacon yard. 53 foot dry vans. 2 to 3 years experience. Never over loaded or forced dispatch. Good Company! Info source: Rick, Truck 779.

As a former Driver for this company, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone the pay is horrible. They wouldn't pay me my last paycheck I ran my last load and turned in there truck and they refused to pay me my last check. Trust me drivers do not drive for this company. They are not trustworthy people.
