What happened to southern hospitality and well manners? The Averitt truck driver I just encountered was matter of fact to the point of being rude. As long as I have been receiving deliveries the past 10 years (1 to 2 per year) from Averitt I have always dealt with truck driver, Charles. What a nice man, very professional, and exemplifies southern hospitality! The world needs more Charles!!!

Unfortunately I wasn’t lucky enough to have him today, and what I once thought was true southern business, good deeds, help others, turns out to be a “charge” for assisting me in unloading 2 huge pallets right by myself!

What happened to doing the right thing without expecting compensation? Wise up, Averitt!

The Dothan terminal has drivers that can be rude and then threaten customers but not reprimand the driver. The terminal manager then says that it is a "he said, she said" incident and he can't reprimand the driver. Be careful with this company. Rude is one thing but threatening crosses the line but they don't care.

I ordered an ac unit a split system had it delivered at my place of employment got it home unpacked it and the condensing unit had damage the seller opened a claim with the shipper and after 2 Mos I get an email that my claim was denied so if your gonna order something and have averett deliver it you may want to try another shipper as I have learned the hard way and will have to sue both seller and shipper to get my ac replaced, good luck!
