Arkansas Welding Academy answered my prayers for my son! This Academy is family owned and family RUN. The Academy is super tight, teaches and molds young adults as they continue the program. Through the 10 month program they have been with him from Start to finish. Even though he has finished they are continuing to allow him access for training as needed. They have helped him with his Resume and is now providing support in Job searching!

If you have a child who is interested in Welding this is the place for them.

Arkansas Welding Academy thankyou for your endless support, empathy for others and providing a safe, personal journey for my son as I was miles and miles away!

Me and my Hunsband will be eternally great full for all you have done and continue to do for my son to come.

Never laid a weld bead in my life; 3 months in school I’m Tig welding 2 inch pipes in the 6g position with my non dominant hand. If you want to start your career in the welding industry AWA is the place to go; unlimited access to material, 8 hours of actual shop time per day, and extremely knowledgeable staff that will teach you anything you need to know about the industry. The training is self paced so for those that need extra time or help it is always available, and for those that pick up the craft naturally they’ll let you spread your wings. There’s no excuses at AWA, just potential to come straight out of school and hit the job site with more skill and knowledge than 1/2 the hands that are an apprentice for 2 years after they’ve graduated a school. You wanna be a welder? Arkansas Welding Academy is the place to start. Come join the family, you’ll never regret it.

This is the best school ever! My son started here and at first my motherly ways were overprotective , My son's was very quiet and I thought they were a bit rough ,but it was actually what my son needed tough men and a sweet tough woman . They did such an amazing job my son went to military and ranked up and now serving in Korea . He would not be so hard working , honest ,top of his class if it was not for this school . They are our family now! Mrs. Alice is so amazing she went above and beyond to not only help my son but help me with my daughter that was in another school. The whole staff is so wonderful and it was a very great opportunity. They don't care about your race i promise . They care about your heart and hard word work . My Son Finished at 18 and they helped mold him before the army and he has plans after to open his own welding company . We love this school and staff ! Our extended Family !
