I feel so incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful place so close to home. This is the best tennis shop you’ll ever go to in the world. Julian is a gem. He’s so nice, so caring, and knows absolutely everything there is to know about a tennis or Raquet. He takes care of my entire family and I as if we were his own family. I’d like to think he gives us special treatment but his hospitality is so genuine to all customers. Thanks Julian! For all you do for us!

We bought 3 rackets and had 2 string fixed in the last 2 years in this store, and some other tennis supplies. Something brought me here was a bad string fix experience. The owner insisted my son asked for tension 46, which is also the number marked on the racket. While I asked him so when you took the racket what was the tension you measured he said 53. So basically he took a 53 racket and rewind the string to 46? Because my son, who is 14, said so, which my son did not even remember? I did not argue this part as I did not record what my son would be doing all the time, :). Anyway, after 3 weeks, when my son used it twice only, the racket became kind of useless unless we have it fixed again. Luckily we bought another racket in this very store while we asked the man to fix the old one. So what do we do? Ask him to fix the 46 racket for $36, again? He would not do this for free though, he also did not propose a discount or anything either. I took this as a bad 2-star post-sale service.

PS: so I asked my son when he got back. Did he say 46? He said no, he said “as it is”. So I asked him again, why did not you give him a number? My son told me he had no idea what his racket’s number was. He knew the bigger the stronger but he could not get a number such as 46 and took this number to the store owner. You know what? I believe my son is telling the truth. This leads me to think something more serious. As you know, a racket is not a live-or-die issue, but in my case it turns out to be a trust issue. Could it be what happened? When you forgot what the number your customer asked, and saw the racket was marked with 46, then you just did it using this convenient number and blame your customer who actually did not mention 53? I am changing to 1-star, because I cannot make it 0.

Excellent service and quality
I highly recommend Apex Raquet Werks for anyone looking for a professional and reliable tennis stringing service.
The owner, Julian, is very knowledgeable in his craft and extremely fast in getting the string done. He is also very service oriented and clarifies all the questions that the customer has. He gives great tennis tips and knowledgeable advice that matters most to the clients.
He is also highly economical in providing the stringing services. For a price less than big box sporting stores, he provided me with the best hybrid strings and stringing services.
It is clear that he is in this business due to his true passion for tennis and not just for profits. Businesses like his should be promoted.

He is now the go-to stringing master for all of us in our community tennis club.

I used to play with Wilson NXT 16 comfort for arm friendliness and always longed for extra pop and spin while maintaining arm friendliness and touch.
He stringed my Wilson Blade Team V8 racquet with Head Lynx touch (53 lbs: Cross) and Head velocity MLT (56 Lbs: Mains) and I am loving the pop, spin, arm comfort and the control that I am getting so far. I will update this review on durability and tension maintenance after a month of usage.

All this hybrid set up for much more economical price and 30 mins turnaround time is unbelievably good.
Finally, the tips that he gave during the 30 mins stringing chat is worth its weight in Gold ;).

I am rather new to tennis. I walked into Apex Racquet Werks to check it out. I met Julian, the owner. What a great guy! Friendly, helpful, happy. He has a great program where you can test various rackets for a charge that is applied to your purchase. I bought one and then brought my wife in who also bought one. His prices are good! And with his advice, you are not guessing about what to buy. His selection of accessories and equipment are great. He is very generous with his advice. No hard-sell here. He is a very experienced stringer, working the major tournaments with all the great advice that brings. What a great shop!! It is my favorite toy store!

This is my new favorite racket shop! Stringing was fast, professional and for a very good price. The racket was also a very good price and Julian was an excellent person to talk to during the entire experience. I definitely recommend this shop to any tennis player who wants a professional string job and racket for the best prices possible!
