Thieves is what this place is! If you show up late for an appointment it doesn't matter the reason your hit with a late fee. If your 30 minutes late it will be 45 minutes because of the check in process at the guard shack. They will charge $205.45 and won't give you a dock door until you pay that late fee. I would refuse to deliver at this location period.

Good place to deliver, I arrived 6 hrs early, checked in and got a door right away, 2 hrs to unload. No parking after you unload.
Gaurd was nice and informative, S&R office was very nice, as for the yard jockey! #1 A-H! Just had a smart ass remark about everything. But we cant win them all.

If I could I would give them zero stars
This location is good if you want to put 34 hours in your book
The worst experience I have ever last five years
I did check in there 1:30 AM
My appointment was at 4
My trailer get loaded at 11 PM
I got paperwork at 11:30 PM
Wasted 22 hours over there
I will never ever gonna come here again
Fellow drivers if you're going there minimum minimum five hours ready to waste there if if you are lucky
Other than that park trailer on the dock door and go to sleep and you will walk up and see your 10 hour sleep is done
And be ready to spend more hours there
The security guy who works in the night
Really nice guy well behave
But in the shipping office
They don't care if you come early they're still gonna make you wait
But if you get late even though it's one minute they will charge you more than $200 late fee and still gonna make you wait for next six or seven hours
Doesn't matter if you come early or late they're still gonna make you wait
Worst location I have ever been in last five years

I'm not sure where everyone else is going, but this place was great! Cori at the gate was awesome, shipping and receiving was nice.
Dog walking area?! That's a first for me to see!

I was out of hours, so I was able to drop my trailer and return after my 10.
Thank y'all for the great experience! It isnt often I leave a shipper/receiver with a smile on my face!

On the way out, spoke with the guard shack supervisor (I didnt get her name! 🫣) and she was super pleasant too!

Appointment time set for midnight till 2000 hours. Get here around 0830 in the morning and they told us that appointment was at 2100. Came back at 2000 hours, they gave us a dock. About an hour later they informed us that they said that they only had about 42% of the load, but they where going to contact Tyson and see what they want to do. 0500, we still in the dock door. And after we got checked in, they lady in shipping office did tell that the appointment was at 2300 hours!

I am here loading for the first time and they have me at gate 51. I don't know what the rush of the person loading is that he stops the forklift with the other pallet and hits the truck so hard that they almost knock me out of bed. They take a long time to load and if they do it quickly they are a disaster. I hope this load arrives safely at its destination.

Awesome place I came to deliver my load. My load was supposed to be delivered for Sunday at 3 o’clock in the morning and I showed up Saturday at 9 o’clock in the morning and I’m already empty. It took two hours to get me empty thank you awesome place.

My experience:
Delivery Appointment Time: 12:00 hrs
Checked in and Bumped Dock: 1135 hrs
Unloading Began: 1146 hrs
Unloading completed: (last time I felt unloaders in the trailer) GREEN LIGHT IS ON: 1300 hrs
Checked on paperwork w/ S&R office and was told to return to the truck, someone would be to knock on the door. Checked on paperwork again at 1700 and they were ready.
Bills in hand: 1700 hrs!

To whom it may concern and if anyone at Americold actually reads these:
Please know loading and unloading these trailers for you all is the way I feed our family. This response time for the turnaround on my bills is / was awful.

A few takeaways if you’ve never been here!

*Pet friendly-they have a grassy area to walk your bets (let’s help them keep it clean please)

* Easy back, plenty of room

*If leaving a trailer they want them clean (I saw them turn one away while on their site and 3/4 full (no exceptions) undocked all the way to the end of the docks or in the overfill lot to your left after you get to the dropped trailer lot.

* Absolutely no overnight parking (I’ve asked, they don’t have the room) but Pilot is approximately (1) mile away and there are several big chain businesses that do allow parking (Lowe’s / Walmart / U-Haul) or at-least they don’t have any no parking signs posted.

* Restroom available inside by the S&R office.

* Nice break room / drivers lounge at end of hall by restrooms.

* Shipping & Receiving Office is by dock # 27
*Have DL / pick up # and tandems slide once to the security gate.

Pasted from another drivers review but I found it noteworthy!

* Each driver has to slide tandems, show drivers license and confirmation # of load.

* If Garmin won’t get you there go by these directions…When you get to the light where the road T's into Conagra's big white yard sign, turn Right there at that light. Go to the 1st light & take a left. It's before you get to the railroad tracks on the left hand side.

* Additional parking other than the PFJ: There's a traffic light right in front of the Pilot or FJ, whatever it is. Go down that little side street & there's a Lowes Home Improvement maybe a quarter mile down that road on the right hand side. I saw a flatbed parked in there parallel to the street when my Garmin had me touring the city. If you pass it, there's a Comfort Inn down that little street on the left side with truck parking. Elmira meets that street there, so if you turn left on Elmira you'll come right back to the light where you had to turn left to get here (Americold)
