Wow- the people at the guard shack are the worst at this facility. I came to check in early, and was asked if I mind coming back 30 minutes before appointment. I answered, “sure, that’s ok”, and proceeded through the gate to turn around. The call to the guard shack was still open, and they started making fun of me and laughing at the way I answered her….
Until I told them I am still on the line… then they decided to be polite…. I hope I have the chance to send audios so you can hear what I am talking about.

Who ever plans operations here should be fired, this person or persons put all trucks arriving together creating chaos dangerously blocking intersection!!

(Truck Driver Review)

Going to be upfront here, this is easily the worst Amazon warehouse of all of them around here to deal with solely because of the layout being awful.

Trucks come in from both directions, and there's three way directional car traffic from inside the actual warehouse parking lot leading up into the guardshack.

Arrive early because it's either absolutely fast and pain free to get in, or you're waiting an hour to get in with *very* frustrating traffic flow.

Backing room is acceptable but I wouldn't teach a student here.

Overnight parking IS available on the side lot for bobtails, will likely not have a problem if you have a trailer.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with guard shacks while driving a truck, won’t answer the phone for check in and check out and completely disrespectful when you ask them simple questions about the progress of the load.
The whole time there is some random guy that also works there just chatting and making money off Amazon being as lazy as possible.

It’s the most terrible guard shack ever i saw 😡
She lazy & slow as hell i did check in so told me to wait out side until my TRL be ready.
I wait 2 hours then my departure time coming up 20 mnts only got TRL ready i moved to gate to find at least 10 trucks in line 🤔so to catch up i saw yard drivers use exit to get in 2 ,, 3 trucks for them get in smoothly so i used it she yeld & shout & screaming & asked me to reverse to use entrance 😡😡😡 i did so ,,
In entrance she called her boss old white women she stopped me & gave me long lecture 😡 about accidents i asked her i see your drivers always use so accidents only can happened to me? She start screaming madly !!! SO i got my TRL 1 hour late because of those Stupid people + no Seal on TRL & they don’t wanna give me one 😡 just let me stopped blocking exit waiting ,,, so i got my own Seal i put it & just moved 😡😡😡 they need to be fired

I've been an Amazon Associate for 7 1/2 years. The wages & benefits are fair. There have been a lot of changes taking place at BWI5 with management and new equipment. Production is picking up with the holidays approaching. There will be more hours added to shifts with pay incentives. Seasonal hiring may be available.
