The packages we sent to Manila took longer than expected and we were told it was because they have a new cargo vessels contract. So the packages arrived 45 days late and as soon as we opened boxes, some items were missing! My theory is that those thieves working for Alas held back the package to give them time to open and steal from the packages. The stolen items were replaced with cardboard sto fill in the gap. I know those cardboard weren’t there before for a fact since I was the one who wrapped those boxes! Don’t do business with this company.

Found this Shipping Service online as I searched for a reputable & efficient shipping company. I called first and located their office in National City, CA just a few miles South of downtown San Diego CA. Very courteous friendly reception from a staff member - Leo. I purchased a couple of shipping boxes to take with me. I received all the info I need and will come back to bring my shipping boxes full, and ready for shipping in a week. So far , it's been a perfect reception from the staff. Keep up the good work Alas Team! I will be updating this review when I ship my boxes and my shipment is completed, having arrived at its destination.

Box picked up on time and arrived in philippines 1 month before the expected time of delivery. The box arrived in good condition and no items were missing. I will be using their services again. Thank you! I highly recommend this forwarding company.

Ladies here are scammers. Make sure you get a receipt for everything because they don’t issue one & ask for it later. Their sending services is so confusing and they don’t explain it very well. It is overpriced, go to LBC where they have better sending promos.

I have used their balikbayan box services 3x already and I havent had any problem. Although customer service needs improvement but overall my boxes were delivered in good condition. I will be using their services again to send my 4th box to the PH. I know there are delays because of covid etc. and I understand that.

It says business hours 9:30-3:00 unfortunately employees are lazy. They are not following their hours. A costumer called their employee said 10:30.. Your employees are too much lazy.. fired your employees and implement strict working hours.

As always staff are great. The big problem is the customer's parking. Can hardly find one and it's too tight to maneuver going out since Jack in the Box made the street one-way . They need to be relocated for more parking spaces. Staff are friendly.
