This place lives up to its name. My own experience, alongside many that I see here online...is that people ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place...and IMO, for VERY good reason.

There is so much I could say in the so many ways that this place and it's staff made me so very comfortable "going with them"...from start to finish. Moves are stressful. And this team made it SO EASY (e.g. stress reduction immediately, from the first call to A Friendly Storage Place).

If you are lucky enough to come across this gem of a business during your time of need for their services...support them! Go with these guys. (But know this...they go above and beyond, to support you better.)

These guys are the best. Period. When you provide a basic commodity service, the only way you're going to win the battle of Sales is to be kind, be flexible, appreciate your customers, and basically just be nice to do business with. Well, let me tell you - - these guys at A Friendly Storage Place have that by the bucketful! The owner of the business took time out of his day (and out of their normal business hours) to show me the storage units. He's a great guy and certainly understands taking care of customers. I'd drive 50 miles to use their storage units. Fortunately, I only live 10 minutes away... AAA+ business. Definitely recommend.

I can't speak highly enough to the level of service I was provided while renting a unit at Friendly. I was in the process of moving across the country and ran into some car troubles along the way, so my intended start date/time got delayed. The owner was more than accommodating and came in to help me outside of his standard office hours. Really helped put my mind at ease during a stressful time. Personal service that you probably won't get from a big-box brand. Facility and storage unit was clean and easy to access.

A Friendly Storage Place staff & occupants are friendly & helpful. The staff made it simple for me to choose the appropriate space size to house my belongings. This warehouse has decent hours & convenient carts for your use. Parking lot is well lite at night. They house is kept clean. I always feel safe & comfortable at this storage place. It’s refreshing knowing my things are in a place where I don’t have to worry about them.

Don't let the plain looking building fool you, this is absolutely the best storage facility I have ever used. The staff are super helpful and will even help move your things in or out of storage or home, even on their personal time.

Ron is as honest as he is friendly, and is not trying to cheat or over charge anyone, if anything he is gracious with allowing late payments and will not sell your things for being late or missing a payment, allowing you more than reasonable time to catch up.

Tracy has a gift where if you explain what you are intending to store, she can tell you the exact size unit you need without wasted empty space.

I have grown to consider them as personal friends due to their kindness and above all their friendliness.....

You know when something happens and you think “what did I do to be so blessed?”
THAT is how I’ve felt from the moment I first spoke with Ron at A Friendly Storage Place.
My Mom passed away in Jan. And my siblings and I discovered we needed to clear everything out (62 years of accumulation!) by April 15, to put it on the market by May 15. So I flew down from Oregon, my brother flew over from Hawaii and my sister lived here and we just started clearing and sorting and divvying up stuff.
So I needed storage for my stuff.
A Friendly Storage Place had the exact size I needed and was cheaper than public AND so much nicer!
And when Ron found out our house was going on the market he called me because another client was looking for a house to buy and put us in touch with each other!

If you think that was going above and beyond - wait! There’s more!

He said that he has a cargo van that I could use FOR FREE!! He said he also has two people I could hire at a verrrrrry reasonable rate/hour to help load the van, drive it to the storage facility and unload it into my storage unit!!! What!! Oh my gosh!

So I came in to sign the paperwork and met the manager, Tracy. She was SO nice and SO friendly, and SO efficient! She said it would be she and Tony who would do my moving.

Talk about professional! She kept in touch the whole time until today, letting me know when they would be here, and the minute they left the warehouse headed my way.

They arrived and literally took an hour to load the van (I was expecting at least 3 hours minimum for that) - they were efficient, polite, careful and extremely fast!
Then they took it all to the warehouse and loaded it into my unit and that only took a little over an hour! I had expected at least another 2 hours for that! Tracy is the Tetris queen - I was sure I would need a second unit but she fit it in with space to spare!!! And Tony is SO strong! He was wheeling 5 heavy boxes of books at a time on the dolly!!
To say I’m impressed, is an understatement. But more than that I so truly appreciate how wonderfully they took care of me and alleviated all my stress!

There are honestly no words descriptive enough to convey how absolutely wonderful everyone at A Friendly Storage Place is. Friendly is too mild a word for this place and these people ….. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious with stars, rainbows, sparkles, flowers and huge smiley faces attached is much more fitting!

If you need storage space or movers just give them a call, you will be soooooo happy you did 🙂

Great place for storage! Tracy and Colleen moved my things from my house to storage and strategically made in fit in my storage unit. Billing was super easy and as advertised. Tracy is very helpful and responsive. Would definitely use again if needed.

Excellent and safe self-storage facility in a secure facility. I hired them for a local move. They came and picked up the items. Tracy was super helpful and easy to work with.
