Now i see why I didn't get the job at my local amazon facility a few years back. Amazon only hires people who dont know what they're doing... Prepare to waste most of your clock here. Delivery appointment for 7 am. Checked in at 6:30 am. Finally, on a door at 12 pm. At 1:30 pm, they finally came out and knocked to tell me that I had to unhook from the trailer for them to unload it. Luckily, a lady inside called a few mins after because she included the point of having to bring the bol down to door E018. Then, forces reverse at the guard shack in the exit lane because it isn't the "truck exit" and there are no signs posted anywhere saying so. And they try screwing you out of detention by putting the wrong time on their paperwork.

Come on guys you know EXACTLY what the problem is when dealing with this particular location. The "workers " or non workers are working themselves out of a job. D.C. after dc is closing. Zero respect for drivers or management who come in from other areas of the country to help. They don't want help they want a do as little as I can paycheck. Our DC just closed after 30 yrs. The work wasn't hard the pay wasn't bad. Until you've worked in this area you hv no idea what its like

appt at 4am. had to bug people around the warehouse to get a door after parking by the fence for 3 hours. finally get a door at 8am. here it is 12:42pm and still not unloaded. only 12 pallets btw. 13,000lbs.

Waited over 10hrs to offload 6 pallets. Nobody knew what was going on. Several other guys were there with the same complaint. Terrible ordeal. Wish I could give fractions of stars.

We dropped a load on here on April 20th 2024 and I came in on may 6th to pick up empty trailer and they hadn't unloaded it yet. Been arguing with them for 2 days now to get it unloaded! Worst place I've ever been nobody here seems to know what they are doing!

I have been to hubdreds of Amazon locations and THIS ONE IS BY FAR THE WORST.

Original review 11/2021: First thing, you don't exit where you enter, and there's only one teeny little sign to this effect. If you miss it, you're backing blindside around a corner to get out.

Then, they need your seal number in order to get out. Not a big deal, but I've never had to do this at any other location, and after blindsiding around a corner, we were in no mood for this.

Other than that, we did drop and hook, so we didn't have the long waits that others talk about.

Update 05/2022: Ah, young naive Jules whose biggest problem here was blindside backing. Tonight I arrived with an empty and am picking up a load. The potholes in the driveway by the guard shack are wider than my axles, so there is no driving around them. Then you call a number and if you're lucky, they answer on the second try. (Or they might not answer until the fifth try.) The guard gave me attitude about not stopping in the right place (I couldn't see the camera, there is no limit line, and I was worried about the potholes). Then she told me to come in, make a U-turn, go back out, and park in off-site parking. I didn't know where that was and then I got attitude about that. She told me that when I was done dropping the trailer, I had to "come back here" to check out. They wouldn't let me park onsite even though it was only an hour before I needed to return for my load. She told me to park on the road, but the exit shack is west of the entrance shack and there's no parking on the eastbound side of the road, so parking on the road involves two illegal U-turns. Anyway, I returned to the entrance shack because she had told me to, and I called again, and she gave me attitude about being at the wrong guard shack and not knowing their rules. When I told her that she had told me to come back there, she hung up on me. I have been to hundreds of Amazons and never had problems with any of the employees. I don't know what is wrong with the management here. If this location banned me, they would be doing me a favor.
