I'm really disappointed with the lack of security and responsibility at this mini storage place. The recent break-in at my unit, which the security cameras missed because they weren't covering my area, just shows how poorly things are handled here. They heavily advertise that their cameras and gated access makes their site secure, but apparently it’s not.

To top it off, not only did the cameras fail, but I also found out that they never gave me the information about self insurance, that was supposed to be provided when I rented the unit. As a first-time renter, I had no idea I could get my insurance. The thieves took about $8,000 to $10,000 worth of stuff.

If the security was solid and they had told me about insurance, I might have had a chance to recover some of it or get compensation. It's frustrating that I found out they didn't provide the self insurance brochure at the time I rented the unit, or inform me that my unit was not covered by video. On top of that, I forgot to lock my unit during the chaos of going back and forth to move things into storage. I trusted that IF anything happened their cameras and gated access would help deter a break-in or at least assist in providing proof help out the police.

To make matters worse, they acted very nonchalant when we informed about the situation. They didn’t even bother to call back when they said they would when they got a chance to look at the cameras (which took a couple of days). The complete lack of professionalism is appalling.

Great company to deal with. Phenomenal customer service. This was safe, affordable (outside) storage for our RV during the winter months. Highly recommend to anyone needing a spot to park one short term or long term. When we first asked them, they were full but ended up finding us a temporary spot until a better spot became available. No contract to sign, either. 5 stars *

I have had a lot of storage units in the past with as much as I move, and Mark's Mini storage is by far the BEST customer service I have ever had. They are extremely responsive and helpful. It is so nice to email or call them, you speak to the same person every time which helps sort things out, while they add a personal touch.

Cleanest mini storage ever! Great friendly staff! Security to notch. My only complaint is there are gate hours for entry unless you pay an additional fee (and the monthly rental price is a bit steep but you get what you pay for).

I stored everything I own in one of Mark's units when I moved across the country in August 2014, and it's still there! I've had to miss payments quite often but they always work with me within reason. Everyone always answers the phone very politely and it's convenient to pay via phone but would be even better if you could pay online.

I love the cleanliness of this place and the people who work there. I once left my unit unlocked by accident, and they called me within 10 minutes to remind me. I also feel real secure. I give them 10 ** STARS!
