Ms. Andrea is great and very helpful. We have two units there in the climate controlled area. I was patient when I asked about a second one, she said they dont come available very often. I was able to get a small one at first, then move it up to the size I wanted, right next to my existing one!!!! Have met other people who have units there and have all been really nice and polite.

Rented a unit here when my inlaws downsized. There was plenty of room for all their stuff. The monthly cost was very reasonable. We had to get in and out of the unit lots because we were selling and moving stuff constantly and we never had any problems. We had to call the owner one night because we forgot the gate code and they responded quickly.

We used Downtown Self Storage for a year while we were recently building a house. We thought we only needed 2 units, but when the moving crew was unloading we realized we needed 3. The friendly staff were able to accommodate our need on the spot. Our units were very clean and we never experienced any issues with security. I would highly recommend this storage facility.

Did it all online. Would be great if it worked. It doesn't. They emailed me an access code and called to confirm that I had gotten one. I thought it was great service. Went over that evening and the access code wouldn't let me in. Now I have a full trailer that will have to sit outside. They don't open until 10am so I can't even go first thing in the morning. Going elsewhere and demanding a refund.

Downtown Self Storage is under new management and has greatly improved the security and convenience for customers. The rates are the best in town and the staff is very friendly and helpful. More lighting and cameras have been added.

2/3 of everyone's things were GONE.

Me and 3 other Hendrix students decided to split a unit. We opted for a combination lock so we could get into the unit whenever we wished, independent of each other. We used it from December - August. In December, a couple of days after the unit was in use, there was no lock on the unit. I purchased TWO more for added security, with no help from Downtown Self Storage. One of us visited in May, and both locks were gone, and our bikes were gone. Downtown Self Storage did NOT reimburse us for a lock, and did not give us one of their locks for free. I was very disappointed.

The man we talked to was a much older man. I called him up in May after the second break-in, and he put a lock on the unit until August. In August, he said he did not remember when I called in May. He said he was old, and didn't have good memory. As if me or my friends cared -- our stuff was gone, forever. My yoga mat, my lamp shades, my friend's luggage with cash and checks in it, multiple boxes...

I gave him two dates, spanning around a month and a half, for him to check the camera footage. He said he would, and get back to me. He never did. I followed up in August, and he said the footage probably would have recorded over itself and he could not find it. Oh, what a helpful man, isn't he?

SO, there is no security at Downtown Self Storage. No one checks the security cameras. No one cares about your possessions, and they are not motivated to help you. Try Waller Security Storage instead.

I was gonna leave this place a nice a review since I have been with them for almost a year now but as of 2 weeks ago my storage unit along with several others were broken into due to the fact that the gate that is supposed to keep our belongings safe is broken and bow has been broken with no one attempting to get it fixed.. Lucky I caught that my unit was broken into in time that some of my things and a couple other people stuff was recovered because the theifs were caught on video but the things that ARE VERY IRREPLACEABLE ARE STILL GONE AND THIS IS DUE TO A PLACE THAT IS supposed to be a gated code needed facility to enter has a broken gate now for 2 weeks and anyone can just drive right in when they shouldn't be able to.. I had been very pleased with the staff and everything since day 1 of me starting to rent until this happened.. And only reason I'm very unpleased now is because I pay $65 a month to have my things not only locked up with my lock in the unit but always having a gate that you are not supposed to be able to enter unless you have a code.. No one is maken an attempt to get the gate fixed and yes was very sorry for our belongings gettn stolen but still say its not there responsibility... WELL IT IS UR RESPONSIBLY TO GET UR GATE FIXED AND HAVE UR FACILITY UP AND RUNNING LIKE IT SUPPOSED TO BE.. THE GATE HAS BEEN BROKEN 2 WEEKS NOW AND NOW ME AND SEVERAL OTHERS ARE MOVING OUR BELONGINGS DUE TO THE STAFF NOT GETTN THE GATE WORKING PROPERLY SO JUST ANYONE CANT ENTER AND SO.EONE UNIT GET BROKEN INTO AGAIN.. THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND NICE BUT THEY DO NOT KEEP UP WITH MAINTANCE OF A SUPPOSED TO BE GATED FACILITY...
