Very delicious pizza with friendly service. I was extremely happy to stumble across this restaurant and will definitely stop again when I’m in the area (we live 70 minutes away).
I want to really comment on their service. They close at 8pm. Even turned off their “open” sign, but sit down and takeout customers kept walking in at 7:45 and 7:55. They didn’t mention that they were closing, just continued to take orders and smile. Well done and great service!

The front shares parking spots with other stores, so parking can be limited, BUT there is a back door and MANY spots out back.

Sauce and crust had a really good flavor. Top was cooked perfectly but the bottom had a ton of flop to it. Also really skimpy on the toppings. 1-2 pieces of pepperoni and only 1 olive per slice. For $2-3 per topping on a half pizza, I'd expect to get a bit more. Will give it another shot to see if it was just a fluke.

NEPA has a lot of good pizza shops, but Gio's is definitely one of the best. Both PA locations deliver solid, intensely cooked pizza. It's my favorite pizza place in the area. Now I have one near work and one near my house.

**Hands down one of the best pizza spots in town!** Gio’s Pizza delivers on every front—flavor, freshness, and service. I tried the Hot Honeybee, and it was fantastic. The crust was perfectly baked—crispy on the edges but soft inside—and the sauce had a rich, homemade taste that really set it apart.

Toppings were fresh and generous, and the cheese was perfectly melted without being greasy. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and had my order ready quickly.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice or ordering for a family night, Gio’s is a solid choice. Highly recommend!

I’ll start it off, here we go…..
I ordered a large New York style , the pizza itself was great, sauce had a little tang to it, sauce to cheese ratio was good, crust was nice & crispy. Here where the problems came……l
I called my order in at 7:09 P.M. after repeating my order 6 times to the young lady that answered the phone due to the background music being so loud, I’m a big music fan from way back, but you’re operating a pizza place, not a rock concert, anyway, she told me 30 minutes, I was good with that. I left my house in North Scranton about 7:15 , made my way up Route 6, stopped in one of the big box hardware stores briefly to grab an item & kill a few minutes, I pulled in front of the pizza shop at 7:40, ( 31 minutes according to my math ) , grabbed 2 beverages from the cooler, walked up to the register, gave the young lady my name & said I ordered a large tray, she said $8.00 ? AGAIN, I reminded her that I ordered a large New York tray, she rang me up separately for the beverages , whatever ? So, now I’m standing there & standing there as the young lady behind the counter was flirting with one of her coworkers, by this time it’s 7:58 , 2 more minutes & was bailing out of there , finally this other young man brings my pizza out, luckily he was pleasant otherwise I would bitten his head off, I was quite irate at this point. It wasn’t even that busy in the place & the phone only rang once while I was waiting & waiting.
It’s a shame because I really enjoyed the pizza, but I probably won’t go back in here again because it put a very sour taste in my mouth, have a little respect for your customers, train your staff properly, are you running a pizza joint or a dating
