I am a participant for their warehouse training program I started first 2 weeks there and felt very welcomed. they and were extremely caring. I was treated as family from day 1 and I assure anyone else who comes to the gap to volunteer will likely feel the same way. The warehouse program is also actively adapting to ensure participants leave employed and I am extremely appreciative of everything they do and all the people who make gap a great place.

GAP…
I learned about you not after attending the corrections or police academy, not after becoming an NCO in the army, not after getting injured when I zigged when I should of zagged and not after attending The University of Arizona.
It was after I was released from prison.
I suffer from a TBI, PTSD and other related issues that sent me down the rabbit hole for a while.
As I started going to GAP as a veteran, I was amazed at the absolute treasures and food assistance!
Then I met this part mister Rogers with the wit and sharpness of Atticus Finch guy name Matt.
This guy… Could not be better suited to be in charge, over maybe a year he took the time to make me feel important, he genuinely valued my thoughts and looked at me with sincerity every time we spoke.
LOL I like to think I was special and at that moment I was to him, but I’ve observed him do the exact same thing with dozens if not hundreds of people, treating and making them feel the same exact same way.
He’s kind, patient, but observers and can read almost any type of person.
He got me though!
About eight months ago he started encouraging me to volunteer. Crazy man.. I thought, I have disability’s, fresh out of prison and a single father of three boys 14,11 and 7, I definitely did not have time to volunteer.
But that sneaky Matt knew what he was doing, he knows how to bring out the best parts of people.
I’ve been volunteering at GAP for around six months now and I’m a better person for it.
The purpose, respect and trust he has give me has compounded into my relationship with my sons and my self esteem.
I’m thankful to GAP for the assistance and proud of Matt for his mentorship.

What an awesome neighborhood treasure! Great place to go pick up a few pantry items. Well-stocked. Plenty of choices. Very helpful staff. Plenty of parking. No bike lock-up. But that hasn't been a problem for me so far. Huge help to making food needs meet. I'm about to head over there now! I really like Gap Ministries Warehouse!

This warehouse is amazing!! I'm doing kinship and the warehouse has some great things. I needed a water hose and my first time going they had one! And it's a nice heavy duty one. If your doing kinship and need some things for your kids please give Gap ministries warehouse a visit. They have bikes for the kids in kinship. There's also nice clothes and shoes, some school items, and even things for your pet! They have food items also, good quality food. Today they had milk and bananas before they had lunch meat and personal watermelons. But what really makes it so special are the workers, they are all so nice, friendly, and caring. All of them have smiles on their face and ready to help you! Please please visit Gap Ministries Community Warehouse especially for the kinship families. They are wonderful!!! Thank you for helping my family.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Offers food and non food items and the options change every time you go in to the warehouse. A very great place to get help in times of need. They offer prayers and other options. I thank these people who help out here. They help so many people here in Tucson.

10/21/23 - The men here are very inappropriate, my female family members came to the warehouse donation center and felt very uncomfortable with the men there, (rubbing arms and shoulders, getting too close) grown men doing this to an adult and underage teenage female. Disgusting display of your “Christianity”. I would avoid if you care about your loved ones.

Very sad! The place was a little busy and there no directions as to where to park! Did I mention I tried calling a bunch b4 we even went! We had clothes and shoes but because daughter has healthy issues and their the only type of shoe I own! They would not allow us FREE FOOD OR ITEMS!!! ITS not that we didn't get anything it's the way they went about it in a full warehouse of strangers! Matt acted like coming there was no big deal but when on bus it's a very big deal. Also who wants to stick their foot into a sweaty shoes that r being used over and over w out cleaning ? ?
