I'm extremely happy with Sierra Propane. I have another service out at our other house. I stopped my Sierra Propane & they patiently went over their tank rental & fuel cost. To my surprise Sierra Propane's rates & very friendly customer service won me over! They were prompt with service too! They came out & did a propane leak check the same day I signed up for their service. In addition, they topped off the tank & gave me a great price for 1st fill!! I'm VERY happy with me service. Matter of fact I'm going to have them service my other home too~ 🙂

Buyer Beware!! I am a senior citizen on a fixed income, so every dollar I can save is important.
On 5 Sep in order to get ready for winter, I went to Sierra Propane in Springerville to check prices and was quoted $1.79/gallon. However, Sierra advised me that since my tank was at 50%, they could not fill it. I would have to wait until it was around 30%. They said that filling the tank at 50% would allow gas to expand and the odorant in the propane would get into my house. I find that strange since the route man will fill the tank up to 90% when he shows up and there has never been any smell in the house.
It may take me until Dec/Jan to get my tank down to 30% and then, at the height of the heating season, propane may well be around $2.25/gal. I decided on the spot to go back to heating with just my wood stove and requested that they remove their tank forthwith.
On 12 Sep, Sierra called me for the third time to try to convince me to leave the tank in place and just lock it off. I told them I wanted it removed. At that point, Sandra advised me that because it was 50% full, Sierra would charge a pick up fee. When she found out that I had in the mean time found much more reasonable pricing at a different propane company, she also advised me that, contrary to generally accepted practices, Sierra would NOT refund the cost of the propane left in my tank.
Sierra Propane failed, neglected and refused to tell me about the pick up fee and the no refund policy on 5 Sep. It appears they are exacting retribution and price gouging for my decision to discontinue their service and acting in my own best interests. They are executing punitive financial measures in an attempt to retain customers. Their actions are hardly above out-and-out thievery.

There was miscommunication with some work they did moving our propane tank but when I called the office, the owner John called me back personally and took the time to understand the problem and came up with a very generous offer to remedy the issue. He turned a frustrated customer into a Raving Fan! I wish every company had that kind of personal customer service and care for their customer. Thank you, Sierra Propane!

I don't know where to begin with my current problem with the one in springerville I've been ripped off once with their scam of ooops our driver filled your tank or just not getting the propane I've paid for .The lady Veronica is so rude she was telling me how I should pay my bills the first time they used this scam on me then she told me to try a charity to pay the bill I wasn't supposed to have in the first place because I'm a prepaid account not a fill up account and now for the second time they are charging for a fill up when I was supose to get 150 bucks worth I had 300 bucks prepaid on my account I had to use the rest of the 150 out of the 300 I had credit on my account and where did the first 150bucks go I don't know I yet to receive my first order of propane for 150bucks and thru this first mistake and now the second mistake and the third mistake Veronica calls me up and telling me I need to pay my bill on time or they will add interest to my bill I just hope they are going to take the 300bucks I had on credit off the 733.00 bill I got yesterday they also didn't do a leak test like the lady said they would do waited home and Noone ever knocked on my door instead left the 733.00 bill on my knob of my door tell me this isn't a scam and I'd tell God that they are shady business people who don't listen to their customers who are scamming their customers o and i remind you all this happened on the 8th of feb today is the 9th feb and veronica called me to tell me about paying a bill i should not have it is their drivers mistake not mine but because i pay my bills i will pay for what i use because im done if they dont buy back what they put in when they shouldnt have then im moving on to the media news and lawyers so run from this place go to a diffrent one so you dont get scam by them filling up tanks on prepaid accounts so you don't get scamed this is not how a business should be ran and should not be in business

i have been completely out of propane for 3 days. i have called a few times and each time they have told me they will send someone out. but no one has came. it’s 15 degrees outside and i have no heater.
