This place is perfect, Been here more than 5 times. Everything on their menu never disappoints their food is so scrumptious!! I definitely recommend giving this place a try, on certain days they have live music playing plus the amazing view of the marina is just perfect! Perfect place for happy hour great prices and great quality! I would say i wish their brunch menu was bigger would be lovely if they had a breakfast menu for brunch that provided some pancakes. Other than that this place is just beautiful the dƩcor and set up is so cute like tiki vibes! Wish the bar would stay open longer !

We made reservations and got seated as soon as we arrived. Server was friendly, but could have attended to our water glasses better.

Food was good. Chicken Penne had a huge amount of chicken in it! I was impressed. Dessert was a baked cookie to share. Very good.

Atmosphere was outside on the patio. Heaters were used to keep some of the chill out of the air. The marina was nice to look at.

Photographer came around offering complementary photos. We did not have one taken, but when she delivered them to another table it appeared that she waited to see which they wanted to buy. Not sure what was happening.

There’s a cool island vibe about this place, noticeable mainly in the set up and landscaping. The lush green foliage and water features (including the koi pond) at the front of the restaurant, plus the awesome marina views, definitely draw you in. But try not to hang out too much outside the restaurant or the mosquitos will get you.

The service is nice enough and the food is ok although a bit bland (the asparagus came with a hollandaise sauce that had zero taste and the steamed broccoli was just that - steamed broccoli, not even seasoned). The steak we ordered came medium instead of medium rare. The halibut was nice although the sauce was barely a smidge and not enough for the whole dish. Drinks were ok.

I think it’s fine to try this place once but we won’t be going back.

Just… WOW. This place was so bad, it actually made me doubt myself. With over 30 years of dining experience across hundreds of restaurants, this was by far the worst one yet.

We picked this spot during a short trip to LA because the reviews looked solid and the decor seemed nice. And yes, I’ll give them that—the decorations are cool.

But that’s where the good ends.

We arrived as a party of two. The host told us we couldn’t be seated at a larger table because those were ā€œreserved for bigger groups.ā€ Fair enough, I thought—until another two-person party was seated right next to us at one of those larger tables. No shame, no explanation. She just lied to our faces.

We placed a modest order: a drink, an appetizer, a soup, and one entrĆ©e to share. We ordered at 7:10. The soup and entrĆ©e didn’t arrive until 7:50—40 minutes later. I asked the server why the wait was so long. I wasn’t even upset at that point, just genuinely curious.

Her response? ā€œWe have a whole restaurant, not just serving you guys.ā€

Seriously?

I pointed out that another group, seated after us, already got their food. She replied, ā€œThey only got an appetizer.ā€

But we were seated right next to them. We’re not blind. They were served two steaks.

Also, the place was only half full at best.

And remember the appetizer we ordered? Never came. Why? The server forgot to put it in. And instead of apologizing, she gave another excuse: ā€œThat appetizer usually comes with the entrĆ©e, and since you only ordered one entrĆ©e, it was delayed.ā€

What?

First, that’s the first time I’ve heard of an appetizer being served after the entrĆ©e.
Second, even if that’s true, shouldn’t you let your guests know when they order?
Third, just admit you forgot. It’s really not that hard.

As for the food—it was average at best, and since it arrived barely warm, it ended up being below average.

So yeah. This wasn’t just the worst meal of our LA trip. It was easily one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I’ll probably remember it for years—at least it’ll make for a great dinner party story.

I don’t want to jump to conclusions or play the race card, but I honestly can’t find another explanation for why we seemed to receive the worst treatment possible. Maybe we were just that unlucky—despite the 2,000+ reviews and 4.3 stars. Maybe others get better service. Good for them, I guess.

Oh, and by the way, the restaurant includes a 15% service fee automatically.

Just… wow

WOW!!! The best oysters Rockefeller I ever ate! Absolutely delicious, next we had the seafood trio with shrimp scampi and baked sweet potato. All incredible, all amazing and made with the care of a personal chef. Truly worth finding! Great views of the harbor. Last but not least was the desert. Bread pudding with grilled fresh banana sauce. This was one of the best deserts I have ever ate in my life. Life is way to short NOT to have eat this!!! Totally earned, with flying colors my hastag #Nofeardining !!!! Will be back for happy hour!!!

My girlfriend and I had filet mignon and lobster on New Year's eve on the deck overlooking the harbour. Perfect timing because we had the added bonus of a magnificent fireworks display. We shared 6 fresh Washington State oysters on the half shell, followed by a medium rare steak done to perfection and the New York cheesecake - delicious! The building is old and a bit run down but the friendly staff and shantytown atmosphere make it an enchanting place to sit and watch the boats come and go. I doubt the building will be there forever so try it while you can
