No overnight parking for truckers. I showed up two hours early. I was in a dock within 15 minutes & unloaded within 45 minutes. Nice people to work with.

I was on their list for three years! They told me the weren’t accepting anymore people at visitation valley pop up food bank! Yet every Friday I see more and more people showing up ! Picking up delicious food while I go and pay for fried chicken at the store! I was on a list ! How did all these people get in front of me? If u aren’t accepting any more people why do I see forty , fifty people at the stop with carts of food? This is racism at its worst

SF-Marin Food Bank has been distributing food since April 2020 and provide a much needed service to our surrounding Community. First time delivering here. There’s a lot of construction happening on this property as looks like they are expanding and or renovating. The employees were friendly and helpful. Tomas in receiving was super nice.
Man outside on street helped with directions getting in and out. I was a bit nervous about coming here not knowing what kind of room there is for big rigs. Turns out it’s not too bad, once you get to the docks after going around entire building. All went smooth from there. 👍🏻

This is a great place to volunteer. The work is easy, and very well-coordinated. The staff are friendly and efficient. They have everything super organized, so it's easy to step in and get to work. At the end of your shift, they tally all you've done and announce a final total of food pounds processed. You leave knowing that you've done some important work for the community.

The Food Bank is a great place for groups of all ages to volunteer, from ten year-olds to seniors. It would be a good place for a company volunteer event, too. Just make sure to plan several weeks in advance. The Food Bank can't accommodate groups as walk-ins.
