I could not have beenhapier with the service I received. Kelly, my rep was so helpful and accommodating when she carefully listened to my needs . I ended up with a unit that was better and more affordable and also could store my car. This is clearly a home grown organization ( manager lives on site!) that really cares about their customers and quality of service . Highly recommend!!

I do not recommend this storage unit what so ever. I myself had a unit here years ago, and always had trouble one way or another - I should've known better and moved my senior mothers unit out of there when I did - but I didn't. We just went to close out her unit recently; and we were warned they had a rodent infestation... well to our surprise there was rat feces, urine and fur everywhere in her unit, I mean tons, then we found a dead rat INSIDE as well. So we had to discard of everything in the unit. Although the woman in the office was very kind so this review isn't a reflection of her - but unfortunately we were told that they had known for quite some time and that they didn't ever send out notices. The management clearly only cares about making money - and it's honestly horrible. My poor mother now has to start all over and it breaks my heart for her. And only an apology was offered....like that can help her get back her things or the hundreds if not thousands she paid to rent the unit. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$. not to mention there are obviously people living in many of the units and they charge too much in my opinion.
I don't want this to happen to anyone else so I am speaking up on her behalf because this is horrible.

I’m so pleased with Storage Direct. I took advantage of their online special, they answered all of my questions and gave me a good peace of mind. I was considering multiple storage facilities in the area, but specifically decided to go with them. Kelly is kindest, sweetest soul you will ever meet. On my move in day I wasn’t very pleased with having a drive-up unit that was facing the sun and being exposed to extreme heat all day, so they went above and beyond to switch me to a ground unit which ended up costing a little less. I also feel very safe and secure using this unit because they use 24/7 surveillance on the grounds. If you are looking at different storage facilities, just go with this one. This is even saying as someone who commuted all the way from Foresthill to Roseville just for their price deals, great service, and security measures.

The staff was very helpful, however I came by on 2 occasions and no one was in the office during working hours. They are not provided with a cell phone, which is a detriment for doing business. Storage Direct should make sure staff is accessible during business hours. I had to call the customer support number to set up renting a unit over the phone. Inconvenient!! I still needed a lock and access to drop off my belongings. Lastly, the gate code did not work on two occasions. Once again, I had to call to gain access. This was not a type-o. It was a system error.
Store Direct needs to support their staff with the tools required to provide timely & efficient service to the client.. ie: cellphone & working gate keypad.
You expect rent on time, right? I
expect access to my belongings!

The staff lady was very helpful and kind. She took the time to address my concerns about safety , security and how the facility functioned . She did an excellent job extending a warm and comfortable welcome. Something I haven’t felt at other storage facilities in a while. Thanks .

I have had my stuff in this storage space for several years and have had zero issues. I am getting another one at the end of this month since it’s been easy to work with Storage Direct off Washington blvd. I recommend if you want a good safe storage unit this place is awesome

Well it wasn't so much with my stay but with my experience in trying to get a storage from them. When I went online and made the reservation to lock in the price at 31$ + a one time 25$ admin fee which then I was told that it would be 56$ for my first payment. So when I was called by the storage place I was a little confused when he quoted me a different price then the one I was given, things are hard right now and every little bit counts and an extra 12$ is an extra 12$. So what they failed to include in the price is the insurance they require that you put on your belongings even if you don't want to insure them, it is in the amenities section. I just feel like it was misleading.
