I’ve been renting at Extra Storage in Irvine for several years now, and I can honestly say that one of the biggest reasons I continue to stay is because of Matt. He is truly exceptional at what he does.

Matt is always professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful—whether it’s in person or over the phone. He consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that everything runs smoothly, and he makes every interaction a pleasant one. His customer service is top-notch, and he has a way of making you feel valued and respected every single time.

It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about their customers the way Matt does. He’s not only knowledgeable and efficient, but also a delight to work with. If you’re looking for a place that’s well-managed and staffed with people who actually care, Extra Storage Irvine—with Matt at the helm—is it. This guy is always there! And always on top of things.

I had the best experience with Extra Storage Irvine, so I feel compelled to share. The “reservation” process was streamlined and WAY too easy. I was able to lock in the rate and pick the day I wanted to come in. I received a call from a very pleasant young lady to confirm my reservation, ensure I knew where the facility was located, tell me how the process would work and answer any questions in advance. I was blown away by the friendly service! I went in to reserve the unit (a little apprehensively), but Giovanni was there and helped me through everything with white glove service! He took me on a brief tour to show me 2 different sized units, showed me how to access the gate, showed me all of the key pads and where to find the carts to help move my boxes, and took his time to make sure I had any questions answered. He made me feel very comfortable and I really was blown away by their EXCELLENT Customer Service. I ended up getting a unit double the size for cheaper than I originally thought! This storage facility is very secure, gated with individual renter entry keypads, security cameras, and lots of light so I did NOT feel uncomfortable by myself. What stood out to me the most is how CLEAN it is…….and it’s air conditioned! I’m so happy I chose Extra Storage Irvine for my storage needs. Give them a try…..you won’t regret it! Good morning my name is Michael LORENO I’ve been at extra space storage for at least two years and I have never had any problems there. The management are very professional everyone that works there is very friendly and I was having some financial problems and I know that corporate was raising the rent and I just couldn’t afford it so I started looking for other Storage units in the area but they just weren’t as friendly and professional as extra storage in the manager didn’t want me to leave so he help me to get a little better of a deal and I decided I was going to stay because I am happy there Giovanni is the manager and the girls at work they’re really nice to very professional so I have a good rest of the week and I’ll be there for a while. I like the storage unit it’s always cleaning and they keep up on it. Thank you goodbye

I tried to write a review a while ago but my Google account wasn't working. My husband has been storing our garage stuff here for about a year. Giovani and the staff are always super kind and helpful. I've had multiple storage units in the past and this is by far is our favorite. This place is always so clean! Highly recommend coming here!

DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE PLACE!

Employee Miranda charged my debit card after I told her to remove me off auto pay. Then today I called and asked her what my code was and she says “your drivers license number” I then asked if I need to include any or pound symbols or anything like that and she responded with “Oh yeah, you have to hit star then the number then pound” I said “ Don’t you think that’s important information for a customer customer to know” And she then hung up on me.

I also called back, and the manager answered, and when I expressed my experience, he hung up on me as well.

People don’t understand that when you work and represent a company you have to do your best these people in my opinion just want to go through their day and do as little as possible possible but make sure that they get their payment every month. Sometimes it’s not the place you do business with the people, and in this case, the people are horrible. The location is super far away and way overpriced.

This is definitely the place to rent storage. It’s clean as can be (and not just for a storage facility—for any place), secure and the management was great in the rental process. As a woman I felt very safe being there by myself because of the access code system on the front gate and individual doors and the trolleys are very helpful for moving items around. The whole place is air conditioned and you’ll never have to lug items far because there are password protected automatic doors around the whole building that open right to the elevator. The hallways are big, and again, it’s so clean!

This is the nicest storage facility I've ever been to. Not only is it brand new and super clean - it's also climate controlled! The employees at the front were all really helpful and got me set up with my unit pretty quickly. There were lots of push carts available & tons of parking once I got through the secured area. Lots of great security features that I haven't seen anywhere else. Couldn't recommend this place more!

I highly recommend Extra Storage Irvine! It’s very clean and brand new but what really sets this particular storage facility apart from others is their staff they are very helpful and polite. I’m most impressed with Gabriel’s customer service skills he is very professional and knowledgeable. Gabriel answered all my questions and was very calm and professional he gave me all the numbers to the exact dollar amount and even told me when my promotion expired and didn’t give me a bad attitude when I asked him to repeat the Information for me to write down. I’m so impressed with his good attitude.
