The quality of the wax and fragrance oils is truly exceptional, allowing me to create candles that my customers love. I'd have to agree with all the other low ratings from other people here. The shipping is horrendous . Takes weeks and they send out separate boxes for EVERYTHING. I've tried to contact them through email 5 times week after week. Sent them a text message for urgent inquiries and still no response for over 3 days. I'm frustrated because I would like a refund for the items that were broken in my order and I'd like to return these wooden wicks that I got because they're not as good of quality as the supplier that I was previously using .

On top of all this it was a pain in the ass to even place my order because their site would keep glitching out on my cart and resetting it , while also having incessant pop-ups repeatedly pop up on my screen on every single page. I should have strayed away from before even placing my order from that experience .

Makesy has reached out to me and quick to respond this time. Offering me a refund for my broken order, refund for the delayed wicks, and the ability to return part of my order that i requested. They explained their situation with moving warehouses and the customer service was great on this occasion. I am willing to give them another chance. I still feel the same about the website with their dropdown menu covering the whole screen , When your mouse goes over it it just takes over the whole screen.

I have been a customer for years, but must admit I am so disappointed in the service from Makesy, it’s going downhill fast. I still have not received my entire order from them. I have emailed numerous times, and even tried texting the number they provided……
As makers we also have orders to fulfill. Why take an order or our money if they are not able to fulfill it.

I have been ordering from when it was called Wooden Wick, been recommending them for years, now it’s different. I recently received an order with 8 missing items, no response to my multiple emails, chats & texts. There is no phone number to speak to anyone, that an issue like this can’t be immediately remedied is a red flag in regards to their business practices.I filled out a complaint with the BBB. $160.00 gone. There are lots of other suppliers who want to have a loyal customer base, I’ll stick with them.
Probably going to have to get an attorney for my current issue, this is crazy!!

***Update 11/23/24***
So after posting my initial review, Charlotte from Makesy responded (see below). She also responded by sending me an email. I really do appreciate Makesy reaching out to make things right. I received a notice that my order is on its way and I should receive it today. I initially gave Makesy 1 star but since they were very swift to respond to my review and remedied the situation I have changed it to 4 stars. Thank you Charlotte for all your help.

First time customer but I got to say, I’ve gotten better shipping times from other vendors not trying to extort me for a $100 membership fee. This is my first order and I’m already over it. Maybe I should’ve chosen to pick up since I’m not too far from Irvine. If I enjoy my order maybe I’ll try pick up next time because shipping is way too slow.
