Ryan was a great guide! The plane was very cool and has amazing history to it. During the flight, we saw Mountain Goats and a pack of wolves. Seeing wildlife was definitely a highlight, but the scenery is the main reason you should go! There are no other views like the Tongass National Park. If we get the opportunity to go again, we will definitely do it with Ryan as our guide!

All the way back in 2012 we took an Alaskan cruise. When we arrived in Ketchikan we were confronted with a sign about touring the Misty Fjords National Monument in a Beaver. My wife and I had already booked an excursion, but decided to do this instead. It was the most incredible event of our whole trip. Years later some friends who were going to Alaska asked what our favorite thing in our trip was and we told them this. While they were on their trip I got a phone call. They had just landed (when you land on water, do they call it watered?), and his first words on the phone were, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" We have one picture from our trip enlarged and hanging on a wall in our home. Our pilot took it of us standing on a dock next to the Beaver on the lake in the mountains where we had landed so we could get out and look around. The trip was breathtaking! The folks and the pilot were very personable and good at their jobs. (Don't forget to tip the pilot!)
