This new company Ernest Packaging that has taken over SLO paper is hands down a total nightmare. They dumped signal buying of products to case only (no exemptions none) when San Luis Paper never once did so. The billing of Ernest Packaging is inadequate and they do not have an appropriate billing department which messes their billing with customers and usually inconsistent where everything is all handled down in LA not locally. The third thing is all the employees from San Luis Paper during the translation process to Ernest packaging all quit, all of them. The complaints I've heard how they treated former San Luis Paper employees is baffling especially when San Luis Paper was in business for 52 years known by the community was apparently trashed by Ernest Packaging. Also their location on 1150 Laurel Lane San Luis Obispo also stinks, it's a bad location when it's out of the industrial district but in residential neighborhood vs the former location of San Luis Paper was, it was better location before they moved the place . The other issue is, they don't like small business, we'll why did they buy a business that was operating in a small town they didn't think about that because they require people to have $400 minimal orders and if you make less than that there's a 25% penalty so it's like you're being ripped off if you're not buying more than $400 worth of stuff. In all I will say don't buy here, they are a complete heartache to deal with especially case also, they basically driven all the small businesses that bought from SLO Paper where Ernest is if you don't like the rules then go shop somewhere else, fine I will. It's sad seeing SLO Paper after 52 years in business sell to a company that ruined a traditional mom & pop business into something nobody wants to buy from anymore. It's very sad what this company did from a good local known business and turned it into the opposite

I am very disappointed in the service provided by this company. This is the second time that our order has been delayed past the estimated delivery date and has been a very big inconvenience to our business and customers. They never notified us that they were changing email addresses to submit your orders, we had to track down the new email by reaching out to different departments of the company. Then they double charged us on an order, and we had to bring that to their attention. Not one time has a manager reached out to show concern or offer some sort of compensation for the inconvenience. I will definitely be looking to replace them as our bag provider and I encourage you to have a second option if you do decide to use them.

Ernest has been the absulute worst company I have ever dealt with. Having been in business for 35 years we have never encountered such a horrible but I mean horrible customer service ever. I don't understand how this company is still in business. Jenna their sales person walked into our door one day and we got some orders in with her. Every time we ordered anything there was always an issue. They promise next day delivery but what they do not tell you is that it only ships next day if it is in stock! had to wait 2 weeks for an order because of one size box that was not available and not once did they let me know until I reached out.

We ordered a machine from them that they ordered from encore packaging. The machine had a lead time of 6 weeks and arrived in 9 weeks. Machine arrived not working. We understand that sometimes that can happen. What should not have happened was when we called Ernest to report this they completely ignored our calls and messages. Jenna the sales rep kept texting me that she was not answering my phone calls because " she did not have all the answers" not once did Jenna or her manager Hannah once call me in 2 months that I had to deal with the return of this machine even with us trying to get either of them to call us to figure out how to deal with this. Tried reaching the owner and the only answer we got from him is that he doesn't deal with those type of situations. I had to call the manufacture of the machine itself to get answers. I had to keep calling Ernest and encore for 2 months straight. This was such an awful experience. Not once we did get any type of apology from anyone at Ernest. We basically had to beg for our money back and get answers from them.

Hermosa Beach pier is a gem. Loads of amazing food. A pier that goes deep into the Pacific. Nice shops and that So Cal vibe you might just need in your life.

The name soulds almost like "honest" packaging solutions but they're NOT honest at all. Worked with them for 6 months. Offered good prices for the first few times and then notified us price increase for 3 or 4 times during a short 6 month period. For the last price increase, promised in writing that it would increase after Sep. 25th but charged us higher rates for orders placed before that date. Their excuse is that our warehouse staff wrote the wrong (but higher) new price on OUR order form. Hmm, according to this theory, if our employee made a typo and accidentally forgot the decimals then we would be automatically charged 100x more? What if we wrote $0 as price on the form does that mean we get it for free automatically? "Honest" Packaging Solution staff refused to answer our questions honestly, but insist on being paid whatever we wrote. Ridiculous but true expeirence.
Beware of the other reviews, many are non-relevant, left by non-customers, or possibly fake.
