It’s hard being a student without a car: the times are inaccurate, the buses are often late, constantly changing apps, the new app doesn’t accept cards, purchasing a metro card is nearly impossible and some of the routes’ frequencies are outrageous. If you miss your connection, your options are go home (which would be faster) or wait 30+ minutes under the Texas sun. One good thing about this company is that I’m encouraged to save money for a car so as not to rely on the buses whenever I actually need to be on time.

I put a five star review a couple of days ago; however, if there was a 10 star compliment I would give it today after what happened. I left my $1500 cellphone on the paratransit bus and not only did they find it but delivered it back to my home. This is such OUTSTANDING customer service!!!! Very grateful customer.

I See Something and I'm Saying Something ... I have been riding for 2 years on the 985 Express and the instructions given to the drivers is wrong and it has not been fixed even after I've pointed out the error at least three times to Customer Service in that time period. Instructions wrongly say Turn Right on Mopac and there are no signs that read Mopac on I45 turning south to Austin. Drives that don't know the route blow right past the route and they have been doing it for years. I've had a driver continue all the way to 130 before realizing there is a problem. When are you going to fix this? I'm tired of telling your new drivers where to turn. They need to use this instead, much easier to read and remember.

It just shouldn't be this difficult. I know it's SXSW, but all those road closures are known ahead of time. Make a plan. Hell make a designated SXSW route that runs it's own route for 10 days in March. Waited 30 minutes for a bus that zipped past the stop, and an additional 30 for 2 of the same bus to show up together. Basically I should have just driven downtown. That's what I'm taking from this experience. "Rapid" route. 🤬

CapMetro system is absolutely faulty. Something is not right with their time scheduling. I wonder who is responsible for this mess. I can only surmise that it is management incompetence. You get one star for never running on time. You're welcome for this honest review.

I was 10 min early to the bus stop and it said the bus was to be there early on Google maps. I waited until after the usual time and the bus never showed. It was 40 minutes until the next bus was going to arrive. I got a Lyft because I couldn't wait that long. The bus system is very unpredictable and Austin is too big of a city to have such a bad public transportation system.

I do not want to point any fingers because in the end drivers, are just drivers, but most of us are just frustrated, about all this new experiment, waste of fuel, horrible and disrispectful, bus parade at seventh and pleasant valley bus after bus, going nowhere, training bus, one after another even taking breaks, when the 300 govalle drives by also says next bus, and when I finally got on the 300 route the driver was hauling ass, like I said, I got operator id # because I could tell they were really behind schedule, but when I was just about to get out the door this x.…x closed it had to hold the door open to escape not get out this capital metro bus nonse has by now lost
It's way, nothing new anyway, also employes on smoke breaks...
Cigarettes butts like,

So I like the fact it's pretty cheap but the amount of buses that have been cancelled the last month is ridiculous! It over crowds the next bus and makes wait time longer.
