First Id like to thank those that volunteer their time to help others at the City Mission homeless shelter on Randolph in Bryan, Tx.. With that being said if you are ever in a position where you are in service of the community please act accordingly. We don’t know everyone’s story or why they are where they are. If you are volunteering in order to comply with probation or simply to give back, be respectful. A friendly face/smile makes such.a difference in a person day. Live God like everyday and everywhere with everyone. Don’t add burden to those already heavily impacted by their current situation. I have been going to this center on and off for about a month now, never having needed it til now. Today was different and I don’t in anyway blame the center. Having to swallow your pride to get a free meal is one thing but being verbally attacked in the most threatening way and then being told to bounce for absolutely no reason is the most degrading and disgusting thing you can do to any person let alone a disabled 56 year old . If that’s the way she talks to adults I can’t even fathom how she address” children.

I met a man in a wheelchair who just got out of the hospital in a grocery store parking lot today who said he was disabled. He said medicare would pay his bill but he has to stay with friends when he can or get enough money for a hotel. I suggested twin city mission and he said they can't provide for disabled people. A person has to be able to take care of themselves. I pray that the mission could add a resource where these people can go to get the help they need. Thank you for listening. You help so many people in the Brazos Valley . Jn 3:16

Worst ever. I kept asking for food for my kids they didn't even have a whole meal for them just a bowl of mashed potatoes. They always said we don't have any and they kept saying they would go grocery shopping never did though. It's horrible the staff looked friendly but they didn't listen when I asked for kids needs.
