Well that was the first and last time I’ll be to that food city. I wasn’t even shopping for myself I was doing 2 instacart orders. At first there was a young black girl checking me out and she was fine, no complaints, she understood how I had the orders separated. Than it switched to an older white woman who just seemed miserable and was confused about how I separated the orders so I stood there at the carts (I had 2 carts) the entire time to make sure items didn’t get mixed up between orders. She had a slight attitude the entire time, I’m sorry if you’re miserable in life but that’s not my problem and shouldn’t be taken out on a customer, even someone doing instacart considering I’m bringing business and money to your store. Than the old gentleman bagging was just as miserable and packing the bags full of things to where when I drop these off I have a feeling they’ll be ripping. And they’re really heavy. I will definitely not be returning there regardless if it’s for instacart or personal shopping. Also a lot of the items on shelves were damaged. Cans were dented or packages open. Just a disgrace and this store really needs to be cleaned up all the way around.

Wow.. just wow.. I never thought you could have a bad experience at a grocery store.. but this place e was an absolute disgrace. From how messed up things were on the floor to just how miserable and rude their employees were.. not to mention. The older gentleman "bagging" was the worst I've ever dealt with.. he got an attitude when I asked for plastic because they were "running low". . So he stuffs as much as humanly possible is each bag.. has the items were either damaged or torn.. not to mention many bags ripped when trying to carry them due to being over stuffed.. I will never be back and recommend people go elsewhere if given the chance. Never again!

If you want food prepared in the deli be ready for the employees to bicker about who’s going to make your food. My husband and I went in to have some burgers and I wanted a Reuben and the lady told us to come back in 30 minutes because she didn’t know how to make the sandwich so we came back 30minutes later and the manager told her how to make a Reuben and they started loudly arguing about it so I told them never mind and left while the employee started fussing me as I’m leaving. Very unprofessional. Every time we go to Food city which is not often we have to eagle eye our receipt because they never get the sales price right and they are deceptive with how they advertise their specials and sales won’t be back.

Watch out for their produce. Went for radishes and green beans, the green beans were good. Tried to buy their precut bagged radishes but noticed they were well soft so I moved on to their green topped ones felt a batch they were okay so grabbed 3 more only after home did I realize all the others were soft and tops were mid rotted so they clearly hadn't been check

Love shopping at this store! Great sales especially on Fri/Sat deals. The store is clean and well stocked The staff is friendly I was very fortunate to get to meet the best lady In seafood Cathy. She gave me great ideas for holiday recipes that are much appreciated. She is a real gem Food City!

I frequent 3 or 4 different Food City stores. The Soddy Daisy location does not have sausage pizzas. Cheese, yes. Pepperoni, yes. Veggie, yes. Sausage, no. Also no Dole Whip frozen dessert. No Chicken Kiev. But does have Kordon Bleu. I guess I just have to travel to Kimball for pizza. All the stores have varying selections. The Lee Highway store doesn't have the pizza brand I like. 🙄

This food City location is always properly stocked. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend grocery shopping here. I would highly recommend downloading the app for digital coupons
