Super disappointed in the service I received from Chattanooga’s All My Sons Moving. I used them for a labor only job meaning I just needed them to load up the truck.

I had everything packed and prepared in my one bedroom apartment. There are two flights of stairs and no elevator so that makes the job just a bit more difficult which I understand. I used a different company to move in where they had to lug everything up the stairs. The job was done in less than in hour.

I figured that would be the case for moving out as well since they simply had to take my items down the staircase. Well, that was not the case at all. Almost $700 and THREE HOURS later the job was complete.

I genuinely have no idea how it took two professional movers triple the expected time (and price) to complete this. It feels super scammy. This is all very perplexing considering all my items seemed to have been thrown in the truck with no rhyme or reason. Upon arriving to my destination, I found the boxes in horrible condition and several pieces of furniture broken.

Kind customer service but it is beyond clear some changes need to be made. I previously used Two Men and A Truck who had better rates and a more efficient process. I would recommend them if you aren’t looking to get your wallet drained and ruined furniture.

If I could rate it lower I would. We handled the tedious portion of our move by using a pod to handle the boxes. I only needed a moving company for the large items (beds, sofas, cabinets, etc). Set up the move two days prior. Was told they would arrive between 8-10 am. That turned into 10:30 due to what I was told was a “tablet issue” when they called. Later that day the movers said they were late due to their regular trucks being sent for out of town moves and the box truck was a rental that didn’t have as much space…which is is likely why I’m now having to go rent a box truck myself to get the items they didn’t have room for.
I was talked into using 3 men instead of 2 because “the amount of moving I was needing would take 2 men 6-8 hours”. The 3 they sent took just 12 minutes shy of 6 hours. I had everything set up to make the move as efficient and quick as possible. They at least told me ahead of time their “wrapping process” to ensure proper transport of our items was the longest portion of the move. It shouldn’t take 3 men 2 hours to wrap and load 3 beds, 3 dressers, 2 tables, and 2 cabinets. The vaping and constant pulling up of their jeans must have slowed them down, I guess Not to mention scratching our hardwood floor at our new home and scuffing our table because one hand was on the table and one was having to hold up the butt-end of his jeans.
When pointing out they scratched my flooring (which they obviously knew, didn’t point out to me hoping I’d not notice) all I got was a “sorry, boss…” (which I hate hearing also). Told the “head guy on the crew” which is code for most seniority I’m sure, (because these guys weren’t professional with their job whatsoever) and was told he’d pass it on. No call yesterday evening asking about that or my experience. Poor customer service from that standpoint all around.
This move cost us $1,310!!! I moved far more three years ago with a “less-reputable” company for $900. They just weren’t available this week, unfortunately. Learn from our experience and avoid this company at all costs. This job shouldn’t have taken more than 3 hours from beginning to end with 3 people on it. Highly dissatisfied and frustrated with the whole situation.

Very disappointed overall in my experience with this company. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with 5 pieces of furniture and a handful of boxes that needed to go 5 mins down the road. We did all of the packing ourselves. We have moved this stuff ourselves in the past and managed to do it in a couple of hours.

This move resulted in 4 hours of labor, unnecessary packing charges, the full hour drive time charge, and a cracked and broken 70 inch TV. This cost me ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS. For 5 pieces of furniture and 10 boxes. Zach and Michael had great customer service, but I would hardly call this professional moving. The pricing is an absolute scam. Would not recommend and will never use this service again.

FRAUD
All My Sons Moving and Storage will charge you $688 for "Full Replacement/Repair Value Coverage" and only offer you $800 when they cause $16,000 damage to your valuable antiques and other items, even when you provide extensive proof of costs to replace/repair those valuable items.

DECEPTION
All My Sons Moving and Storage states on their website "we train our movers ...". However, when questioned as to the extent of their training, the movers said "we answer the job ad and go to work with no training." In addition, All My Sons Moving and Storage will contract 4 movers, then send only 2 exhausted overworked movers.

EXTORTION
All My Sons Moving and Storage will change your contract terms verbally at the last minute (later day/time for delivery) then hold your items hostage by refusing to unload the truck until you pay them $3,000 more than the contracted amount.

Contacting the BBB will not help because All My Sons Moving and Storage simply does not care. They will tell you "if you are not happy with your $800 offer, you can take it to litigation".

I'm sure there are people that have had positive experiences with this company, but ask yourself, is it worth the gamble?

I’ve never used movers before, and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this was the best decision I could have made. They completed the job on time and within the expected timeframe, with no hidden costs or surprises. If I ever move again, I won’t hesitate to call All My Sons—and I’ll specifically request Brian and Tyler! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, professional, and friendly movers in Chattanooga. They truly went above and beyond!

I recently relocated from Chattanooga to Calhoun using my sons' moving company. Their quote was reasonably priced compared to other companies, and they had excellent reviews. It was incredibly easy to arrange everything over the phone and via email, with the final paperwork signed on an iPad in person. Michael, Tony, and Jacob arrived promptly to load all my belongings, added extra protection to larger items and even made sure I didn't forget anything needing to go with me. The team then drove an hour to the new location and unloaded everything up 3 flights of stairs without any issues. I highly recommend their services and would definitely use them again.
