Freddy's is a growing fast food chain, featuring frozen custard, shakes and malts, along with burgers, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, fries, onion rings, etc. Its menu is not unlike that of Culver's. Freddy's motif is somewhat reminiscent of a 1950's diner. But for 'fast food', we thought the wait time of 25 minutes for a couple of burgers was unreasonable. There were several tables in the dining room that were experiencing long waits as well. Some impatient faces, to be sure. Sadly, when our food at last was ready, it was clearly not worth waiting for. The burger patties were very thin and VERY well done-- dry and crispy. Not good. Perhaps Freddy's does a better job with its dessert items, but as a burger joint, don't even bother. There are so many other good options.

I had the standard double steak burger with onion rings. Nothing to complain about but nothing to brag about really either. The onion rings were good but did not have salt, the hamburger was pretty good but was over-salted. With tax by Bill was about $11.50

I’ve never been to a Freddy’s before so while I was in town, I stopped to try. Incredibly welcoming employees here! Also a nice, clean restaurant. Way more bright and welcoming than a Five Guys. Anyway, I don’t know what a “steak burger” is but I was super happy to see that they are smash style burgers! Very tasty! Tots were cooked to the perfect crispy doneness too. That said, both the burger and the tots were far too salty. Not sure if that’s the recipe or if it was just a one time thing. One star off for the near painful level of salt. I’ll definitely be back though! Stoked to try some of their custard items!

We love Freddy’s, their burgers, fries, and custard. We especially love that they have fry sauce! Only place on this side of country we have found that does. The guy at the register seemed like he didn’t want to be there and was very monotone but other than that the service was good and the restaurant was clean.

Ordered online this evening and my husband went to pick it up. We live less than a mile away. He waited for the food to be made while he was there and came straight home with it. The fries were freezing and stale. The burger was a mess and cold as well and the order was also missing requested sauce that was on the receipt. There’s no excuse for food that’s cold when someone is waiting for their order to be made it should 100% be fresh at that point. We live less than a mile away so it’s not like it was a long drive before I received the food. Very disappointed and hungry.

I have found my new favorite burger place!!! The Double Bacon Burger was AMAZING! The patties weren't huge but they very obviously were fresh and the flavor made up for the size of the patties. It doesn't come with everything on it but you can add it all (lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, ketchup) at no cost!!! The employees are so nice and helpful. The atmosphere was so fun! My almost 3 year old just wanted to get up and dance to the music they had going. I live in Knoxville and will DEFINITELY be going back!!! Thank you Freddy's for a wonderful experience and an awesome lunch!

The food is amazing burgers fry’s chicken sandwich’s everything I love the shakes and Freddy’s it’s my favorite fast food but recently they got rid of regular bread slices for grilled cheese and started putting it on burger buns which I find ridiculous and to make it worse they don’t even cut it in half try dipping it in fry sauce I dare you it was a horrible decision and ruined the joy of going. They recently got a new burger that’s on Texas toast and I ordered a grilled cheese. It’s STILL ON BUNS put it on the Texas toast at least please my rating will go up upon the return of sliced bread

It was honestly pretty good. Minus the fact that they didn't quite get the order 100% correct, but it was not enough of an issue for me to return it or even speak to anyone. Overall I'm pretty satisfied. I'm sure they'll work the "new place" quirks out and it will be a smash. The custard was great, and the atmosphere was that of a burger stand from the 50's. I will be back.
