Check in on time only. By appointment only . Not early than 44 min. Security guard was easy and smooth to deal with. Staging area was full and waiting time to get unloaded is a different story. Check in at6:30 pm (appointment was set for 7:00pm). Check out was 11:00pm.

When I come here i EXPECT them to take at least 4hrs because they got to count all the items. I'm ok with that. But NOW they are taking 4 hours just to UNLOAD you while IN THE DOCK and THEN you have to wait another 3 hours to count. THIS FRIDAY 4/4/25 will be my 3rd week in a row. 2 weeks ago appt at 7pm didn't get bills until 342am. Last week appointment at 10pm didn't leave till 4. Didn't start unloading till 2am

Had the opposite experience here from the Houston Facility off Windfern Rd yesterday . My 1st visit here to HEB San Marcos and after reading reviews ,mostly all the complaints, I was worried. Had the mishap of missing the turn off of Wonder World Dr before overpass. That can’t be overstated enough. Why there couldn’t be a noticeable sign put up to get your attention. Make sure and turn onto frontage road before overpass so you’re set up to go under making left turn towards HEB Distribution Center(can’t miss it, it’s huge).
Arrived on 8/28/24 @ 4:30pm for a 5pm appt.. Only 2ea trucks in rh lane for OTR trucks live unloading. After checking in was given a badge to scan door entry of warehouse and directed to wait in staging area.
Just as I got backed in staging area, received a msg giving Dock# and receiving office door # @ 4:48pm via text. Backed into Dock#209(broken dock-lock, had to move over to #210), was mty @ 6:08pm, checked out @ 6:58pm(massive rain and thunder storm hit delaying my exit).
Can’t say enough of how great I was treated and how professional everyone was as well.
Contrary, last night 8/27/24 was held 5hrs at HEB-Houston off Windfern Rd even after checking in 3hrs before a 6pm appt. time. Had to go on PC to get to safe haven when checking out. Nearly late to p/u load next morning @ 10am to San Marcos.
So you be the judge, I believe many factors go into how your experience goes. Thank you HEB San Marcos, maybe you can help get things in Houston-Windfern Rd moving faster!
No overnighting and no earlier than an hr here in San Marcos, TX . I look forward to coming back again someday.

Checked in a hour before my appointment time. In a dock 10 minutes after my appointment time and took about a hour to unload. I would definitely bring another load here.

Read the reviews… good gracious… 8:30pm appointment… got here at 7:17pm… there will be a line… guard shack is good…go to staging and wait on text… text comes… door 233 and check in at 220…cool… wait on text to get paperwork… red light after 3.5 hrs…it’s been a while since they last hit me…it’s 12:41am… it’s Christmas Eve…

It took them 8 hours to unload me then told me it’s no overnight parking you’ll have to leave the premises
