I had an excellent experience with Covan. The gentlemen that came to my new home were polite, took care not to damage my property, and asked how I wanted the shipment to come into the home. It was the best moving experience of my life, and so far I've moved and lived in six different countries.

We hired Coleman to relocate us from Columbus, GA to McDonough, GA this summer. We had an employee come to our home in the spring for an evaluation and estimate. We were told all walls and doorways would be protected and were sold on his promises of excellent service. We did not receive any of these promises. We’ve made numerous moves with the military and have always required a two day pack. Their two employees showed up and packed us in one day. Once we arrived and began opening our boxes, we understood why it only took one day. For example, the supervising employee for our pack out, placed free weights in a box with a clay lamp. The lamp was not even wrapped, not that it would’ve stood up against two 25 pound weights. We paid for wardrobe boxes, which are more expensive, and require the packer to place the hanging clothes on the bar. We didn’t receive this service. The second employee tossed the hanging clothes inside the box without a hanging bar. There were numerous other examples of their unprofessionalism. When the truck driver and loaders arrived, we were told they would be using two trucks. We told them several times to remove one item from a room they would need to remove the door from the hinges. They disregarded this information and caused damage to the door frame. Due to their lack of knowledge or experience, the two trucks would now need to be three and it was 10:30 pm. I was promised by the driver he would be back at 8:30 am the next day with a third truck to
load our remaining items. Not only was he not at our home at the promised time, he didn’t notify us. We frantically called their office for a status update because we were scheduled to turn over the house at 10:00 am. Luckily, we were able to push back this time because the driver didn’t arrive until 10:30. Upon arrival to our new destination, our original driver was not present. Our new drivers were much, much better. They were not told about the third truck so all our household goods were not delivered at the same time. The drivers and loaders were shocked at the unprofessionalism by the original driver and loaders. At one point, they even tried to ā€œprepareā€ me for the shock of our bedroom mattresses. Our pillow top mattress was not wrapped, nor was it boxed. It, along with a second mattress, we’re tossed in the back the truck. They were warped, ripped, and dirty. Almost all our master bedroom furniture was damaged beyond repair, both of our children’s bedroom furniture had some type of damage, our office furniture was damaged, our bonus room furniture was damaged, our dining room table was damaged, and several other tables were damaged or broken. Our solid wood futon, which had made seven military moves with no scratches, was broken into multiple pieces. We took pictures of every single item that was damaged and/or broken for documentation. The company sent a furniture repair person out to repair what we hadn’t discarded. He did a great job repairing what wasn’t completely broken. We received an initial offer of less than $500 for all the items the company had totally broken. That was unacceptable and we notified them it wouldn’t be accepted and sent pictures of all our broken (into multiple pieces) furniture. We finally received an offer we could live with, which was still less than $1500. It didn’t come close to what it cost us to replace our master bedroom furniture, futon, and mattresses. To add insult to injury, they tried to charge us an additional amount due to the third truck, even though the combined weight of all three trucks was less than the estimate given by their representative at the initial walk through. We disputed those charges, but it required numerous phone calls. Honestly, we probably could’ve hired someone off the street and received the same quality of service. Please learn from our experience, use one of the other professional moving companies and save yourself the headache and expense.

The worst moving company I've ever had to deal with. They break your stuff, scratch your floors and fail to return phone calls. On the move down the mover was drunk. The only people that where nice where the truck drivers and the loader/delivery people. Other than that this company is straight garbage
