First time I have used Prime Storage, and it was a really good experience! They helped me find the best spot for me to store my new boat and they were able to search other locations that may have a better storage spot for my situation, such as room to backup my boat. Also, their prices were well within my budget, less than I thought and the people at the desk were really helpful too!

Unfortunately, I have to update my review. While my experience with the staff during my time at this facility was not necessarily negative, I was the victim of theft on-site.

Initially, the employees were helpful, but the insurance company—whose coverage I was required to purchase—is now struggling to get a response from Prime Storage. They have requested the necessary documents four times with no reply, delaying the processing of my claim. I have attached a photo of the email as proof.

I have been renting units from this location for a while now and I needed to drop in to the office because I had some questions about the rate on my unit. It had essentially doubled without warning and I needed to find out if anything could be done so I would not have to vacate and be inconvenienced by moving my things to another facility and I could continue doing business here. The manager named Adam and his employee, Cindy, not only took great care of me they got almost 70 bucks a month knocked off my rate just like that! I don't know about any of you but that's real money to me and it's going right back in my pocket thanks to Adam and Cindy. They're awesome. If you need a great place to store your stuff in Kennesaw/Acworth, Prime Storage is the place to do it!

The Prim Storage that I stored my vintage car in asked me if I had my own insurance, or would I take there $15 a month for $3000 in coverage. I said no I had my own. Well they billed me anyway for Jan and Feb, even though I provided them with my insurance. Well I showed them that I had insurance and begin getting the run arounds! Point is they lost $118 monthly business over stealing $32 dollars from me as I moved out immediately when I began getting the run arounds.

First, let me say that the reviews mentioning a Scott or Patrick must be fake, bc there is no Scott on the premises. Unless these reviews are merged with other locations. There was a female manager that quit several weeks ago, whom I was told was incompetent by the floating managers that fill in onsite, and now the manager down the street fills in every once in a while. They may have hired someone after the robbery (explained below), but that just happened within the last two weeks if so. Something about those reviews stinks to high heavens…

So, ANYWAYS….where do I begin?

How about, DO NOT rent a storage unit from this sham of a company! After the front gate didn’t function and was left wide open for FOUR MONTHS, thirty units were broken into (including mine). That story is far too long to explain in detail, but in a nutshell, it was a disaster to deal with. I finally got my money, but still lost close to $1,000 in items stolen that I will never recover. They made it up to me by raising my rent over $20 per month (presumably to cover their increase in insurance premium).

Next, when I notified management that I was moving out (12 days prior to my move out date), they waited until a few days before my to tell me that I would be charged an additional month bc I did not give them the full fourteen days’ notice (this was an oversight on my part due to misremembering which day of the month I moved in). You’d think they’d apologetically give me a couple days’ grace period after they negligently allowed a mass robbery on their property, but I digress.

To top it all off, someone in management went into my account the day before my renewal date and signed me up on autopay without my permission to ensure they would get my last months’ rent, (which should be illegal if it isn't already). I was out TWO days after my monthly renewal date, and they still expect me to pay for an entire month. Well, I guess they’ll see how I’ve handled that…

One last tidbit…when I spoke to the law enforcement officer handling my theft case, he told me that it’s the “most broken into” storage facility in the area. So, in short, find another storage provider. I moved right down the street about one mile to Acworth Storage and I love it so far. The first two months are half off, and dramatically lower on an ongoing basis than the racket known as Prime Storage charges. Tell the manager, Vince, that S. Hurley from the 600 building sent you! Shameless plug for a referral, but a girls gotta pay rent! 😂🤑

I had a flawless leasing experience. The leasing agent was very knowledgeable and kind. I went to the storage facility and discovered that the unit I was rented was not ready. The staff moved me to a comparable unit without hesitation. Very nice staff kind, and courteous. I would recommend Prine Storage any day.

If I could put no stars I would. Do not park your stuff here the gates always “broke”. I had my trailer with 30k worth of lawn equipment stolen from my parking spot. This was my business and how I feed my family. This is not a place I will send anyone to. Very unprofessional lady on campus. Idk where Patrick Went but y’all need to bring him back. Talk to many of other people who have their stuff on site say my stuff was an inside job. Whatever you do do not go to this prime storage. I have reached out to try to talk to the owner but have not heard anything at all so on to the next step.
