I worked with Amy at the Atlanta (Acworth) location. She was a pleasure to work with. Always responded very quickly to all my questions. She would communicate via phone or email easily. I had what I thought was sort of an unusual shipment. It was a pair of loudspeakers that weigh almost 300lbs each. They were packed securely on a pallet and were shipped about 2000 miles to my home. I checked around and got a lot of quotes...from "under the table" shippers, to UPS and FedEx as well as other professional shipping companies. Craters and Freighters was a good deal, and confidence-inspiring when dealing with them. They literally will ship anything unless it's a live animal, so I wasn't worried. I have no hesitation to recommend them.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the bad service that I received from your company. On April 28, 2023, I spoke with Amy about a delivery that I needed to make. The original quote was for $1093, but I asked for a white glove service quote that was $1600. Due to budget constraints, I declined white-glove service and went ahead with the original delivery.

However, on May 22, 2023, I received the shipment and was shocked to discover that I had been charged for white-glove delivery, which I never agreed to. This was entirely unbeknownst to me, and it was a shock. It took more than 8-10 days to receive the delivery, which was very inconvenient for me, and then to receive it with such a surprise charge was so frustrating.

I found the conversation on April 28th and the actual transaction to be entirely different, and it felt like I was tricked into paying for something that I hadn’t agreed on. I am upset that I was not informed about any additional charges for the delivery service, and I feel like I was taken advantage of.

I urge your company to be careful with your communication and to ensure that everything is communicated clearly and transparently. All verbal quotes should be included in writing, and there should be no confusion when it comes to fees and charges.

In conclusion, I am disappointed with the bad service that I received from Craters and Freighters. I hope you will take the necessary steps to improve your service and communication, and to prevent any similar incidents from happening in the future.

Amy was great to work with. Our lines of communication were great and even though I can be pretty annoying at times, she handled it great and we are very satisfied with the service. Highly recommend.

Was told to meet at 11 for a pickup with these guys, nobody showed, finally got a hold of them at 11:30, was told it’s actually a window of time when pickup and delivery happens, and it would be between 11-1. Didn’t hear from them until 1:15 that they were still 30 minutes out. I am incredible flexible when it comes to meeting people, if I’m told an accurate time. Don’t overbook yourself if you can’t hold to a time frame, and setting two hour time windows tells me that you guys have a bad habit of overbooking yourself.
