Read the reviews and know the process when you get to a customer. Don't be a pain in the ass and ask a lot of stupid questions. Then when you have a tight load and need to get out of there and you tell them they will just move you in front of all the idiots giving them grief all day. Know how to act and you can have very good experiences in places with really bad reviews. Got me a door less than an hour after appointment. They have overnight parking and nice facilities. Act right they will treat you right.

trucker here. whats with the shipping and receiving people? . i was there just now and both guys have a crappy attitude and act like they are doing you a favor by doing their job. I'll do my best to avoid this place

If I can give negative stars on this company I wouldn’t hesitate! The shipping and receiving guys are so unprofessional and lazy. They(Hispanic and old guy name Jeff) check you in like if your bothering them on showing up to deliver or pick up.
Showed up at 7:30 for 8 am appointment it’s now 9:42 and my trailer is not even half way empty and went to ask the receiving guys and they say staff went on break and went back in after 15 mins and now they are on a meeting😐. I nicely ask this guy named “Jeff” when was the meeting gonna be over and he said it was gonna be gone when meeting is over. I told him I been here for 2 hours now and I have to go pick up another load at 10:30 and he was rude and said” if you want to leave you can leave or just request detention “
This shows how unprofessional and not productive this people are. This kind of people are the ones that makes a big company like LaGrou Dis.. look bad and waste money on people like this. They don’t care if LaGrou has to pay detention for several hours because it’s not coming out the employers pocket!

‼️This might not be the same with others drivers but for me it was a day which this guys were having a bad day.‼️

This place used to be pretty fast not sure what happened but it took them 3 hours to load me with 9 pallets 🤔
Nice people though bathroom and vending available. Plenty of docking space and signs to direct you where to go. I would have given this place a better rating but 3 hours for nine pallets I mean come on. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I don't mind coming here to get loaded. I am usually in and out within 1 or 2 hours. The dude that checks you in is super friendly and very helpful. He's also a Cubs fan. Go Cubs

The unloading was pretty quick, I guess because it was a Friday. When you park, just check in with shipment you are going to have to sign in on a computer if you’re picking up for Aldi’s then you will have a CM number for your pick up. Also they want you to have your trailer number on the inside of your trailer before docking. Do not ask the guy at the front desk for his marker because he will tell you no. Yep the front desk and be pretty petty sometimes.

Got here at 8:30am checked in. They told me my load wasn't ready that they would call me. I went back in 3hrs later and nothing waited in my truck for 2 more hours went inside again and still load wasn't ready. At 5pm I went back inside and I found out that they had taken me off the list. When the guy finds out why my load was giving to another carrier and the excuse that they gave me was because it was a 1000 pound load. Spent the night there cause I know you can over park and the next morning they kicked me out took pictures and said never to come back. They where the ones that screwed up giving the load to someone else and not having the decency to call and let me know.
