What can I say about this company? As a restoration contractor with VERY high standards and thousands of happy customers, I am beyond careful about who I refer to my customers. Because my standards are so high, I decided over 10 years ago not to handle contents, because Alicia McDonald showed me a way that was so much better that what we could do ourselves that it was legitimately EMBARRASSING! She was with another company at the time, and when she left, that place fell apart! I was so thrilled when she opened her own shop, quite some years ago now. I began referring her business again immediately, but I was skeptical how she would do without the huge financial support that came from the old company. I had no need to worry. She took her little family owned business, and as you can see, it has become quite the enterprise, and deservedly so. These guys are now large enough to service all of our contents needs, but still small enough to care...no corporate, profit driven monster here, just a company that wants the absolute best for their customers, treats everyone with respect, and has a very positive attitude. It is very hard for me to recall a specific problem, but there have been a few among the hundred or so projects we have worked on together, but they have all been resolved quickly and completely. They earned my loyalty forever when they packed out the job in the pictures, over a weekend, working 2 - 12 hour days with a huge crew, missing church, missing their families, in order to help with some special circumstance.

The only thing I will say is that I don't think John McDonald owns any pants, he only seems to wear shorts. I am hoping that in 2019 this company makes enough profit that his wife will take him to Ross or Marshall's and get him some pants, at least one pair.

To be serious, whether you are a homeowner just double checking to see if this company is legitimate, an insurance adjuster or agent looking for a contents restoration company that is fair and honest in all circumstances, or a restoration contractor looking for a contents provider who will take care of your customers at least as well as you would (and sometimes ever better), you really don't need to look any further.

This company is remarkable. Please do not hesitate or use any other company but All About Contents. They are the salt of the Earth kind of people. Their drivers are kind and hard workers. Their movers know what they are doing. And they send you the most incredible group of ladies, they call packers. Omg you can sit back and just watch, these ladies treat your stuff as tho it was their own. Then when your house is all put back together. The movers put your furniture back and the Packers unpack and put it exactly where it was. Nothing but kindness and professionalism during a rough time in your life. I have talked to the owners and now i know why their employees and the company is so great. Great leaders. Thank you for helping my family during a rough time.

Today I had All About Contents pack up half of my house because of water damage. Dave and his crew were professional and extremely efficient. They cheerfully went about doing their work. I highly recommend them!

BEWARE -- I hope you will reconsider using this company. They came to me at a stressful time and told me they would pack up everything in my house and would move it back in, even claiming they would make up my bed. First, they disposed of things claiming they were not restorable, without my approval. NOTHING but furniture was brought to my attention. Things that I emphatically said I wanted to keep, were disposed of. Their guys took things that were clearly marked for another company, took many smoke breaks, used foul language, and obviously had no regard for my belongings.
While the ladies took great care in packing my things, I am truly concerned about how this company ripped off my insurance company. Things that were packed in waterproof tubs (like my Christmas things) were repacked (taking more labor hours and more boxes - Example: 3 Christmas ornaments in a box, 2 coffee mugs in another box, etc.). I have made cross-country moves that were cheaper.
Finally, the claims that they would put things back in their place was a lot of baloney. They didn't even set up the beds, let alone make them up. They claimed to not know where anything went, but I painstakingly created a cross reference for them to know in which room EVERY box should go, which they ignored.
My insurance company has stopped the unpacking madness, claiming they were too slow, plus they had absorbed a large chunk of my claim. I'm left with a mess. Hundred of boxes stacked to the ceiling. Hindsight is 20:20. I wish 1000 times over I had never heard of "All About Contents." They lied to me....period.

LIE #1 I was at the house when things were allegedly brought to me for my approval to dispose. Your stellar staff did not bring ONE thing to me (other than furniture). Do you honestly think I would have approved disposal of my yearbooks?

My insurance company denied allowing you to unpack because your stellar team was so slow. You claim you didn't know where things belonged....even the beds? Seriously? Why take so many pictures, if they weren't being used to even put the beds back in place?

For you to come off as so empathetic in the beginning, I am beyond disgusted with you and your company. I hope your conscious keeps you up at night. You are wrong, wrong, wrong on so many levels and you've allowed your staff to do their own thing. This is the perfect way to run your business into the ground.

I wish I could take all of the boxes and paper and dump them in your driveway.

All About Contents were a support system during a stressful time for our family. They treated my furnishings as their own, packing was very careful and wrapping of furniture exceeded expectations. We had upstairs water damage that affected both floors in our home. AAC provides the packing, moving and storage services we needed so repairs could be made. A++ This company is awesome. They have done dozens of projects for my company, and my customers over the last several years. They are proven experts at working with Insurance carriers regarding handling homeowners contents and furnishings. Very professional, courteous and expeditious with their trade. I rely on them weekly and wouldn't use anyone else. As a side note: In this difficult industry they are very friendly and enjoyable to work with as well. A++
