We waited 9 days past the expected delivery date on a 2 pallet business office supply delivery. I understand that problems can occur, but they did not communicate through tracking, email, or a phone call that they had lost our shipment between 2 terminals. On our end, people were paid to stay late twice waiting on the delivery, because it said on the tracking that the estimated delivery would be on that day after our business hours and we needed the order ASAP. I had to call multiple times because they did not communicate why the shipment was 30 miles away but wasn't being delivered, or the result of the investigation after being told I would receive an email. We finally received the order after the specified time on a Friday afternoon when we are closed for the weekend. The boxes were broken with boot prints on them where they had been stepped on. They were on broken pallets and the boxes literally fell apart. The delivery issues caused some newly hired employees to stay home without being paid and a late start to a program. It would have been much cheaper in human capital to go pick up the order ourselves. The lack of communication was extremely frustrating, and they seemed to have an attitude that this is commonplace. In the future, I will be much more careful in selecting a company and will investigate the delivery company when I need something quickly.

The last several times I've been waiting on a delivery shipped via Saia, it never arrives on the date the supplier gives. I do understand that it can vary a day or two. However, whenever I go to their site to track via the PRO number, it always has contact customer service under delivery date. Overlooking the fact that there is no number to contact customer service on that page, once you do look up the number and call customer service, I get a recorded system that tells me that my delivery will arrive on "contact customer service." The system then says goodbye and hangs up.

Teach your drivers the laws of the road please. The far left lane is for passing, especially going over Chapman Mountain where the truck is going to have greater difficulty getting up to speed. Other semis were passing your driver in the right lanes. I had to get off 565 & your driver was still hanging out in the left lane blocking traffic.

Delivery date was 5 days later than promised and I had to get my shipment from their location in Madison AL or it would have been at least another day. I couldn't wait any longer. It's the Walmart of trucking do it yourself or it won't be done.

Saia went above and beyond to deliver a swingset that I purchased for my grandchildren. I have a very steep driveway that the truck could not navigate. Saia worked with the shipper to come up with a creative solution to this problem. I am very satisfied with the service I received. Thank you to the Saia team!
