I cannot understand how some people would say that this company is not good and gives so many bad reviews (but to each his own ). I recently started using Myers and have found them to be an immaculate, excellent, reliable and efficient company. I experienced only great customer service and high respect from the staff. Marcia is an awesome manager with exceptional knowledge and very professional. She has gone above and beyond for me each time I use their service and products (barrels). Their prices are unmatchable and unbeatable I have received my barrels on time in the past but nothing in life is perfect. It’s the hurricane season now and yes my present shipment has not reached as yet but I cannot complain; Myers Shipping has no control over the act of God or nature. I am a person who is very hard to please and when I say I am satisfied with their service, BELIEVE ME. They answer my calls and questions, calls are being retuned in a timely manner, Camille who started working there recently is a force to reckon with (very intelligent and courteous), and Marcia is awesome, remarkable and is truly trustworthy.

I will recommend them for your shipping needs and continue to use them as long as they are giving the same or better quality services they offer .. Thank you Myers Shipping for your excellent service

I have been shipping boxes, containers,appliances and more for many years with this company and literally this has been my worse experience. The rep I just spoke with just flat out hung the phone up on me because I was trying to get clarification on pricing: 4 extra inches on the outside of a grate for reinforcement is an additional $120 didn’t seem realistic. I asked for rate calculations and this young lady said I will have Mr Myers call you and hung up. I did not ask for Mr Myers to call I only wanted to know how the price was calculated so I could pay the bill. Which I don’t think I should be paying because I was told they would measure at my house and if there was a discrepancy I would pay difference then. Men came and picked up no one stated that the crate was bigger so I thought I could go on vacation and everything would be taken care until the next day I got a call about the 4inches. Not 4 inches of useable space just wood placed on outside to reinforce. Do better people please

They picked my barrel on the 20th of July and told me it would be shipped off the following Monday, the barrel still haven't reached jamaica to be collected, these people are very deceptive I called and ask to speak to Marcia myers but was told she was busy and will call me back, 3 hours pass then someone from their office call to ask if I was the person that call previously I said yes,she said Marcia will call in a few seconds,to date she has not called so I can ask some pertinent questions about my barrel. Customer service stinks and I will not spend my money here again and would not recommend anyone,trying to support jamaican business but she have run they picked my barrel and dropped it while putting it in the truck. If you are better than talking to me than I don't need to spend my money with you. Still waiting on my barrel.

They dropped my barrel and everything in it was messed up I couldn’t even use the barrel to carry out the stuff. I still shipped with them again and the barrel took 1 month to get to Jamaica. The children didn’t get their school supplies to go back to school.. A friend of mine told me he had the same problem. Never again

Literally the most amazing place, I called them twice and every time I spoke to them they were super nice, they worked with me on the prize, and they even said that they can come and pick it up. They treat the Caribbean people, while I absolutely would tell anyone use this company.

Pros: Great customer service, clean facility, and friendly staff. The package that I shipped had all of the contents. Nothing was missing! Thank God.

Cons: I packed a large box at their location on Saturday, December 2nd. I was told the box will be shipped on Monday, December 4th, and it would take 2-3 weeks to get to Jamaica. On December 12th, I received a phone call asking if I would like to change my shipping destination to another port in Jamaica. I thought it was halfway across the water by now. The warehouse in Jamaica called on January 15th, saying that my box was ready for pickup. It took over 1 month and 2 weeks to receive what I shipped.

I love Myers Shipping, the employees are very nice, and helpful. One of the things I love the most is that you can pack your barrel, and or box in the warehouse at Myers Shipping, they will hold it for up to one week before they charge you for storage until you're ready to ship your barrel, or box.
The cost for the barrel, box, and to ship it off to Jamaica in my opinion is affordable, also normally it's ready to be picked up in about 2 weeks after shipping. THIS DOES NOT APPLY WHEN SHIPPED OFF DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON. It takes a longer time. I suggests if you want to receive your barrel, or box before Christmas, you should ship at least one month prior.
