If I could give 0 stars I would. They make it insanely challenging to pay your bill if you are a tenant renting a home, and stopped sending my bill to my address. I alerted my landlord of the issue, and he called in to have my name notated on the account to call in and make payments (my dad is my landlord). When I called in they wouldn’t give me any information, since the account was now “past due” since they didn’t mail me my bill. It feels as if they are making it hard to pay my bill on purpose so they can charge late fees, even though I have lived in the house for 2 years and my dad has called in to notate me on the account multiple times. I do not recommend wasting your time with their customer service

They use a 3rd party service for collecting payments and it fails miserably. I've had to pay multiple late fees due to it failing to actually withdraw the payment it says will post in three business days. Contacted them about it and it took a half hour to get a hold of someone. When I spoke with them they were pretty miserable people to deal with.

Needs to be be criminally investigated. To charge 10% compounded late fees, they designed billing to keep the customers paying $15.00-$30.00

You have one job - "billing service" and yet the whole payment experience feels un-unified and totally clunky. Why isn't there one single website which connects my exact bill to my exact account and takes payment? Instead you send me off to some third party billing company. Wait a minute, weren't YOU supposed to be the billing company? I can never tell when my bill is due, or when a bill has been paid because there's no good place to look at billing and payment history. The payment portion is completely detached from the billing portion so they aren't coherent.

I have to say, their phone staff are generally courteous and professional.

They try to sound nice on the phone but won't help at all. My cc on autopay expired and was charged late fee and they refused to take it off.

Absolutely a forced on us scam, call Curtis needs to investigate this elaborate scheme!!! Late penalties are compounded and it's billing is designed to be complex, vague and deceiving to keep racking up a an astonishing 10 % interest fee.Robbery!

Could not be more appalled at the lack of customer service and how our family was treated after 16 years of service. We payed our bill late they returned check & told us water was cut off accused us of cutting the lock & made us pay 150$ reconnect fee to turn back on which it never was turned off. Ironic how people can be treated when they are at the mercy of this monopoly of a company wish we had options because we would no longer be customers of this poorly run company. Disgusted beyond belief

I have always received excellent service from Consolidated Utility Service. I love the Neighborhood cleanup program, it is such a great deal as opposed to having to take things to the dump. They have always taken everything and left the area clean. The customer service is superior if I ever have questions. Thank you!
