Fast and got exactly what I needed

Edit: the pick up was a nightmare with Jason telling us "that's not my job" when we told him we were there to pick up the appliance later in the day. (We did as instructed and he was working in the appliance department when we arrived to get the washing machine.) We waited almost an hour for someone to bring the washer to the front for loading. All the while, Jason wandered aimlessly in the aisles, ignoring the page to assist our pick up.

It was a horrible end to what started out so well.

I went into Lowe’s to get a piece of plywood for a small project and left feeling completely belittled. The sales associate, Joe and Jennifer, were not helpful at all and made me feel stupid when I wasn’t exact with my measurements. Both saying they couldn’t help me without the exact measurements, not knowing that the measurements didn’t need to be exact, since it was only a project. It was my first time and very disappointing since I’m just a young girl and don’t have as much experience as other customers may have but next time I know to bring a man, in case I don’t use the correct terminology at least I won’t be turned away with no help.

I'll start by saying that Jennifer- the manager is amazing at her job and cares about people!! I came in to exchange something and was spoken to so extremely disrespectfully by the older woman at customer service. Another employee came up and she then proceeded to speak very badly about my son and myself. I quietly asked her to please discontinue what she was saying, when she then started hollering at me from across the entrance in front of all the customers walking in.. kids. By far the worst person I've ever encountered at this location!! Another manager from a considerable distance,who heard everything from afar, asked her to remain quiet, but of course she did not. Guess when you go its at your own risk. Not one I'll be taking anytime again.

no board carts and no cashiers. I had to carry my 2x4s to the self checkout and could not get the plywood I needed. I will shopping at Flanagans lumber from now on because they appreciate customers

After Church, my husband & I went to Lowe's in Athens AL. We spent an hour in this store "trying" to purchase a $468.00 self- propelled, lawn mower.
The sales associate informed us that neither mower that we were interested in & wanted was in stock & would have to be ordered, which he was unable to do after 5 failed attempts to order!
He decided to call other stores that showed on his inventory screen that had the mowers in stock at their store. He tried three different Lowe's locations & couldn't get a sales associate from the seasonal department to answer the phone! Every time... it rang & rang & rang, off the hook!
He even tried calling & talking with customer service to have them "page" over the intercom system a seasonal associate & they didn't do that, they just transferred him to the seasonal department to not be answered once again, over & over! He voiced his displeasure, he was very vocal about it, & used expletives!
We'd finally reached out limit, we'd had enough & left!
This was one of the most aggravating, annoying, & appalling experiences!
This was supposed to be an enjoyable, shopping trip for us to get my precious husband an early Father's Day present! It was anything but enjoyable!!!
It was beyond disappointing!!!
It was an absolute fiasco!!!

UPDATE: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The very, next day, my husband went to this same Lowe's, walked in & found the mower he wanted, a truck had come in the night we had so much trouble & it delivered the mower he wanted & several more.
He put it on a flat cart & went to check out, with no problems whatsoever!!!
Everyone was super nice to him at checkout.

A young lady called Paris, I believe, helped me get everything I needed. She was patient, kind, and informative. If I need home improvement goods anytime soon, I will be asking for her! Wonderful service.
