Been here for a month and I gotta say that I really enjoy working for this company and it's been good. Before I started I read a negative review left by I assume a "disgruntled former employee" and I was reluctant and worried, but I'm glad I came aboard. The dispatch are all great as well. Sure your gunna have bad days every now and again and things happen both negative and positive as in any line if work, so it's all good. Safety is imperative here and taken seriously as it should be which was nice to see a company with some integrity.

Don’t book load from this brokerage company !!!!
We booked load from them. Kansas City to Warren Mi. Appointment was for 12:30pm. I arrived at 10:00. The guy from shipping office ask me for pick up number and I gave to him. Was wrong pick up number. After 1 hour spend for different pick up number broker from Midwest gave us another pick up number with appointment for 4pm.
Absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful from the broker from Midwest Freight System corporation!
He wanted give us 100$ more for waiting.
From start he lied us, he sold my load to another guy and after that he had one more load and give me that load for 4pm appointment. What I should to do wait to 4pm and start drive 800 miles for another day!?
Better don’t lie truck drivers and do your job professionally and with more respect!

From a drivers perspective: Midwest is a great company, I'd recommend to fellow drivers. Short runs that payed quite well. Really down to earth dispatchers, that communicated effectively from my experience. Really great owners with a strong operations team around him, just a all around solid company.

Great company. Very nice people, including dispatch. Great paycheck. Enjoy a comfortable driver lounge. These guys treat you well. They have dedicated lanes thay are mostly drop and hook. If you do get live loads, they are pretty quick anyway. You can choose nights or days. As a driver with 10+ years, I highly recommend this company. Keep trucking!

I am extremely disappointed with Midwest Freight Systems and their utterly dishonest and immoral business practices. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. Here are the key issues I encountered:

Misleading Information: From the very beginning, the company provided misleading information about load information such as pick up or delivery time, they were not defined in the rate confirmation and later they used it to charge my company.

Lack of Transparency: Transparency is non-existent with this brokerage. Important details regarding appointments, commodity and weight are withheld, and I had to dig through layers of fine print to uncover the real terms and conditions.

Poor Customer Service: When I tried to resolve these issues, the manager/ supervisor was appalling. They were unresponsive, dismissive, and sometimes outright rude. It took weeks to get even a basic response, let alone a resolution.

Unethical Trading Practices: Their entire business idea revolves around providing you with wrong information and later profiting off you for that same wrong information provided by them.

Overall, Midwest Freight Systems operates in a manner that is both dishonest and immoral. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to stay far away. There are many reputable brokers out there, but this company is certainly not one of them. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Midwest Freight Systems at all costs!
