I don’t know where to begin but all i have to say is i am leasing car for last 10 years and this is the first time i walked that dealer without sign the lease. The lady on the phone I believe her name is Sally she was very kind but salesperson his name was Mathew he was very arrogant, and so rude. When we told him about the our budget he literally get up and “ sorry i can make this deal” He didn’t even say goodbye his attitude and behavior we never experienced such a behavior from car dealerships. On the way to our home me and my husband were so shocked. We said to each other what was this . We signed the a lot better deal in Brooklyn Volkswagen. Our payment was a lot lower than he offered. I guess at the end we should really thanked him about his rudeness. In fact it worked out better in our ends.

Overall, I had a very positive experience with Giuseppe Coppola. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and explained all the services in detail. He helped me choose the right services for my vehicle and was available over the phone to answer all my questions and add on extra services that I needed.

I did encounter some confusion with the Bayside Service Packages as I found them a bit confusing and had to figure out which services I needed as part of the manufacturer recommended services at my mileage level. Giuseppe walked me through it and I was able to choose what I need however a bit more clarity and mapping services to the Manufacturer's recommended services would help. As a result, I have rated my experience as 4 stars.

Additionally, while my car was ready when I arrived on time for pick up, there was a check engine light that had to be addressed. I would have appreciated if these checks were performed prior to informing me that my vehicle was ready for pick up.

Despite these issues, I appreciate the service provided by Giuseppe and the rest of the Bayside VW service team.

In a world of dealerships that make buying a car so frustrating, Kyle and Angelo made the process incredibly easy and simple. Two no nonsense people and no nonsense fees or upsells. They won’t waste your time and even touched up the tiny scratches on the CPO car we bought before we picked it up. Definitely would return!

I shopped around and they gave me the best deal by far. This was my first EV and Max answered all my questions and was in no rush until I was completely comfortable driving it off the lot . Would absolutely come back and recommend to my friends and family.

Update..Took my 2022 Taos due to dead battery and blinking dash. Basically they charged the battery sent me on my way. Terrible communication from the service department. They released car unfixed car experienced the same issues again almost got into several accidents. They released my car because just did not want to deal with it. I will never buy a another car from them and most definitely will never have my car serviced by Bayside VW. They just don't care.

I have left a deposit with this dealership since May to get a ID.Buzz. It finally arrived in end of November, but this deal asked for 8K over MSRP and they claimed they have other customers for the car. They also told me to wait for next round for MSRP price. So I waited for the next round and they offered me MSRP price and asked me to get the car on Saturday, so I sold my existing car, get a new full coverage insurance and find auto loan. So I went to get the car with deposit bank check in my hand in my surprise the same car they asked for higher MSRP still in their lot, the car was not ready and their finance rate was over what I had. They asked me to come back on Monday without having a decency to apologize for my time wasted for 8 month and financial loss for selling my car, getting new insurance, hard inquiry on my account and hours of my professional time wasted.

This was by far the best car buying experience I ever had. Throw all your negative car salesman perceptions/experiences out the window. Working with the extremely knowledgeable and friendly salesman, Matt Depetris, put me at ease from the moment I walked into the dealership. With a car salesman like Matt, you can rest assured you are in good hands and feel confident with your purchase. My new 2024 Tiguan R line is exceptional and I have absolutely no regrets.
