Didn't this used to be the San Carlos Hotel? Any chance it will go back to being that? Had a super cool 1st floor luncheonette with lots of tasty Coca-Cola!!!

Everyone reviewing seems to be mad that their gas was turned off when they didn't pay their bills. That's how the world works, so be glad we don't get snow.

Every time I've had the gas company out, the service guy has been super efficient, very professional and willing to answer my million questions. We live in an old apartment that the landlord doesn't really maintain, so we didn't know how to work the heaters and we have had gas leaks in several appliances. Every time I call, they are there within 30 minutes and also take the time to check out all the other gas appliances. But if you need a routine service appointment, like to light your pilot lights, schedule it early because by mid November you'll be waiting a month.

They are the worst ever. they cut off my gas two weeks ago. I have a 6 year old child. I had been out of work for about 3 months and just recently just found work. I've always made my payments until recently that i've been out of work and i can understand if i had ran up my gas bill to about 6-700 dollars or even 200 dollars at that! But they decided to cut my gas for 68 dollar. 68 DOLLARS!!!!!!!!. fine i just paid the 68 dollars, plus the reconnection fee and then had to pay a 65 dollar deposit on top of that, which i get back in a year. One would think they would try to turn the gas back on within a couple of days the payment was made but no no no no no no, I'm schedule for DECEMBER 6th 2013 that is the earliest they could come out to turn my gas back on per the customer service representative. Where is the human compassion. I guess it not their problem because at the end of the day, the bottom line is what counts. As long as they make their money. How they can monopolize the market. They don't care that i have a child that is on seizure medication. they don't care that i'm a single mother trying her damn best to get by.

The WORST COMPANY EVER! They CHARGED $63 fixed the gas valve that had shut off..it should have been free.
I am so excited that California energy is becoming deregulated. I am going to switch to AMBIT because this SUCKS!!

PEDRO was the worst service professional ever. Wouldn't give his last name. Wouldn't provide a card.
Says his supervisor is JAMES.

Tried to talk with a technical person at Southern California Gas Company in regards to Porter Ranch gas leak. I am an Oil and Gas University graduated engineer with over 30 years of experience in this field. I felt obligated to suggest some technical solutions to try to solve the gas leak problem faster and with less damage. I spent several hours in different days to get a hold of somebody that would have some experience, to communicate my technical advise. I was put in hold with the promise to be transferred and nobody answered the transferred call.
There are 3 gas pipelines of 40" diameter and 700 psi of Natural Gas berried, crossing underground through my propriety and close enough to my propriety to be considered. If their emergency response is as prompt as it was when I called for the other emergency I am very worried of the outcome if one of these pipes will give up one of these days.

There's no competition...so the union-backed, overpaid, inner city workers do not have to provide basic customer service. They are understaffed because this company prefers to hire internal candidates, friends and family of current employees, which ensures that nothing will change for the future.

It's odd as to how the field workers rationalize any thoughts.
I had scheduled to have the gas service turned on at our home and had to wait an entire week for it. Sadly, the worker came to the apartment complex, went to the rear of the apartment, and placed a notice on the BACK gate, rather than front gate. This notice was never seen until 4 hours later when the maintenance crew was working there.

A) The gas valve is located in the rear of the apartment and entrance to the apartment was NOT necessary.
B) If he/she needed to enter the apartment, there is someone living near the front entrance to allow them to enter. However for some unknown reason, they came to the rear entrance where NO ONE resides except rats, roaches, and trash dumpsters.

So my question is, why was nothing done that day as schedules?
