My home furnace blower fan motor died and the HVAC people wanted $1100 to replace it. I spoke with Patrick from Nor-Mon over the phone and he asked me to bring it in to see if he had a replacement in stock. Not only did he have one but he gave me several pieces of advice on the re-install that were super helpful.

$250 later I have a working furnace and $850 in savings. I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Nor-Mon Distributing.

The most dishonest and dirty company I have ever bought from. I was fixing a refrigerator for a client and called them to see if they had the correct part. I gave them the a very specific factory part number, and asked if they had it. They said they did. I asked them to hold it for me, and they did.

Since it was going to take me an hour+ to break down the fridge to get to the part I needed to replace, I offered the client the option to go pick up the part while I spent my hourly rate working on her fridge, or she could pay me to drive instead. She chose to go get the part.

When she came back with the part, it was not the part I asked for. I gave a VERY specific part number to the guy that answered the phone. He said he had it, I put it on hold under a name, but it was a cheap Chinese rip-off of the part I was looking for that could of purchased off of Amazon w/one day shipping. The part numbers did not match. He sold me a cheap rip-off that is a cheap knock-off of the actual part I wanted. I specifically didn’t want the $15 part I saw on Amazon because it is a piece of junk with terrible reviews. But that’s what this company sold my customer… a $15 part on Amazon, that they sold her for $65+ change.

The part didn’t even fit correctly (the sprocket was 45 degrees off) but I managed to jerry-rig it to work a couple of days until I could get the proper part for about $10 more than this lying and cheating company sold a terrible fake.

Look at their other bad reviews… seriously…. Please do. Their ridiculous “no returns under any circumstances” policy shows what kind of business they are. I was a retail manager for over 20 years, and I have never seen such a dishonest company with such an obvious and flagrant F’ing over of their customers. They know what they’re doing (ripping off the public) and they do it with no remorse. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

Btw, I have receipts and packaging if anyone doubts this review. I’ll post receipts and pics if needed.

Highlights: We had the BEST experience here! They have an incredible amount of inventory, and the kind of customer service you imagine from a small town where everyone knows everyone. We were treated like we’d been lifelong customers on our very first visit. They went above and beyond for us, and we are now customers for life.

The whole story: Our AC went out in the middle of 90+ degree weather. Understandably, we were in a hurry to get the parts needed to fix the problem. We wound up at Nor-Mon Distributing and they spent over an hour with my husband looking for the right part for us. When it was discovered the one part they didn’t have on-site at the moment was the very part we needed, one of the gentleman who had been helping my husband said he could go get the part and be back in half an hour, if we could wait. We were thrilled! We grabbed lunch across the street at the food trucks while we waited, and 30 minutes later they helped carry the parts to the car for us and wished us well. This is also after providing my husband with a wealth of information about our AC unit that we never would’ve known without their expertise. This was such an incredible experience, the customer service was phenomenal and made me feel like someone actually cared about us, and they worked hard to help ensure we wouldn’t spend another uncomfortable night in a hot house. We love Nor-Mon Distributing, and we will definitely be back for all of our HVAC and appliance needs. Thank you to the wonderful gentlemen who helped us, we are both so grateful to you!

Oregon does not have a sales tax, but they add a 5% tariff (TAX) on product that's already in stock. Maybe they should just include the tariff in the price of the item? Not a good look. 😕

Believe the other 1-star reviews—the owner is an absolute snake. I spent thousands here when I didn’t have a car and it was across the street. Bought a nail gun that didn’t work. Instead of refunding me the $100, the owner said he’d take it to the company. I checked back weeks later, then months, then YEARS, and was always given some story about how he was “about to call me” or “just spoke to someone a week ago” and would hopefully get it resolved soon. I had been a regular, a loyal customer, but that wasn’t worth 100 measly bucks to the owner. He’ll smile through his teeth and feign politeness, but try refunding anything, even if it’s broken, and you’ll see how much he really thinks your worth.

I had an issue with my central air unit. Was in earlier today and bought one part and the counter man was very helpful. Unfortunately, it wasn't the part I needed and I came back to buy another part. The owner took the time to go over with me what it might be if this second part didn't work. Came home and it kicked in like a dream. My new favorite store. Besides the great service, this is an old school hardware store and they sell damn near EVERYTHING! Great job guys, that's how you earn a customer for life.

Also, after reading some other reviews, I had to comment on the negative review by Will Morris. No company, and by no company I mean NO COMPANY, takes electrical items in return. First off, you cannot buy and return electrical items to troubleshoot your issues. Second, if you install it wrong and it blows and then you return it, they would need to test every item so that the next customer doesn't get screwed. Don't be such a baby. One of the parts I bought today turned out not to be the problem. Did I ask for a return? No, but because I know better but also because it was my process of elimination. Man up.

They saved me over $1500. I'm so thankful my furnace blower motor went out every where said I needed a new furnace or a new motor. I walked in with the motor one look and they suggested a little part. Took it home switched it out and I have heat. Thank you so much

I can’t say enough about these guys. Called around for a replacement blower motor and was recommended by one of the wholesale distributors. Went in and in 5 mins came out with a new motor. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. They took time to show me the wiring for the new motor. Give this place a try if you are looking for appliance or furnace parts. You won’t regret it!
