Excellent customer service has always made a huge impression on me and is something that I really value. We popped into US Foods CHEF'STORE to grab an essential for a project and had trouble finding it. Gavin, the kindest and most professional human I've encountered in a shopping environment in a long time, came quickly to support and did so with a style that feels so rare and special these days.

There are plenty of places and ways to source products in our modern world —the "above and beyond" kind and professional attitude that Gavin gifted us with during our recent shopping experience is one that will bring me back to this spot over others.

Im really glad I came to this store! I needed some help, and a young Gentleman came right over and helped me out. He even helped me carrying my stuff in my car since i have a bad back! Unfortunately he wasn't wearing a nametag, but I think his name was Nolan. He most certainly deserves a raise! I will definitely come back! Nice and tidy store, nice and helpfull employees. Would give more stars if possible.

Great place for bulk, large quantity food stuff. Do you need 50 pounds suger? This is the place.

Like that it's geared toward restaurants. You can get stuff without the frills or the high costs of a grocery store such as Fred Meyer, Safeway. Plus there are restaurant supplies which are key when you're a family who actually cooks and has a proper pantry.

The downsides are much like WinCo, it pays to be choosey. The stuff they sell is cheap quality for the most part. For example, almost everything is disposable plastics instead of bulk bins, there are some organic items and some local meat but more or less everything in the store is highly processed and comes from far away.

You can find some great things like bison, grass fed beef, lamb and some quality things like spinach that is organic and a great deal. Again, for eating healthy on a budget it has some great options vs the big box grocery stores.

The staff are also helpful and cheery which is very nice!

I was shopping for my very first ever Instacart order today. I failed at catching his name (tall guy, bald/shaved head? Sorry.) anyways, he went above and beyond to help me and was so kind to my son. Although I probably won’t be choosing batches from this store again, (because 50lb bags of sugar…) he made it go a lot smoother. Thank you.

Manager created a policy on the spot that wouldn’t allow us to return their product to a store that we didn’t purchase it at. Spoke with other managers and they confirmed, that wasn’t the stores policy. Thanks for wasting our time lady manager, wouldn’t shop there again!

I'm happy to have them nearby and not far from my route home from work. Good selection, great to be able to get large cans of mild green chilies, good prices.

What I am not happy about is their complete lack of bike parking, in a part of town where many of us ride cargo-hauling bikes. Not a single rack in their parking lot, not a single city-provided rack on the sidewalk. I lock my bike to a guy-wire supporting a telephone pole, and feel like I am not appreciated as a customer.

I keep asking; maybe some day the right person will hear my plea and recognize the rightness of it.
