They had gotten me a job at Embassy Hotel. Toward the end of my first day, I told the manager "I'm exhausted" -- and I said this one single time. I was asking when our shift ended, because knowing when it ends helps me pace myself. Again this was my first day. The manager decides to send me home.

I wrote 1st Employment, and told them exactly what happened. I was sent home simply for saying "I'm exhausted", again, one single time while on shift (we had not been given any breaks that day.) 1st Employment calls me the next day and tells me they won't be working with me anymore. Interesting. As a human being, we are seriously not allowed to feel tired, or even mention that we're tired, even once. I kept up with all the work given to me and never fell behind.

This actually gives me an idea. Being exhausted, and wanting just 5 minutes to sit down, is about the most human thing there is. Anyone from any culture or background will experience something like this. So going forward, toward the end of my shift, I'll tell my supervisor that I'm exhausted and need a few minutes. Their reaction will tell me everything I need to know about them. "Oh sure! Hey sit down for a minute, you're fine" -- they'll treat you like a human being. "WHAT You're exhausted You need to go home!" -- tells you that they won't. This could apply to employment agencies as well. It's quite literally the only thing I did.

If I could give less than a one star review I would . Never have I worked with people are who are so rude and condescending in mannerisms . The rank stench of unprofessional behaviors ,coupled with the acidity in their tones I’ll never go back . If you want work don’t go here .

Terry listened to my situation and in all instances where I needed help after she promptly found me work she was happy to do everything to help. She went to bat for me multiple times and even when I had issues with where I was placed (not her fault) she addressed them with the HR manager at the work site and things changed quickly. It's not just her though. The entire staff at both the Benton and hot springs offices helped me and were friendly even though they were not my case manager. To be honest if you need work for whatever reason, whether due to background or just bad luck, go to them and be honest about your situation. If you do that then they will help you in any way they can.
