I recently went in a cost plus to purchase one of their holiday gift baskets when I realize that they did not have them this year. I spoke to Sara A charming woman with a lovely British accent she help me put together a custom basket was my dedicated personal shopper. If I didn’t have to eat I wouldnt so I’m not a foodie but it’s really fun and good for your brain shopping the “grocery” (more like pantry) section here because they keep things interesting and unique. All our tastes are different but I will say there’s treasures throughout the food section in both the savory and sweet categories. I’ve noticed that many of the items—because they’re from foreign countries—have much cleaner ingredient lists.I’ve been a customer for about 20 years and always find something new to enjoy.

I love how it’s usually empty in the evenings and how they offer a lot of items in individual servings or for a smaller family. The staff is polite and friendly but more importantly they leave you alone which I prefer. If you’re looking for more standard, popular US items this isn’t the store for you.

I came here to buy some coffee beans from a Chicago based roaster, Dark Matter Coffee. I was initially going to buy it online, but I saw World Market had it in stock. I came in-store to do the purchase and it was a pleasant experience.

The employees were very kind and the interior was well kept. They have a variety of specialty brands in terms of food/snacks, so I'll be sure to be back. The store is focused on interior and decor but has a surprising amount of kitchen/food products.

Great store with an awesome and helpful staff. A place you might not think of going to for beer but thier selection b is fantastic. Also great deals on gourmet foods, like these olives currently 50 percent off for 2.99! Love this store.
